I just always wonder what on earth made these people just up and leave. And its a shame someone else couldn't have lived here that didn't have a place to live. Hmmmm What a waste ! 🙁
Strange. It might just be the footage you captured creating the impression but it does seem like what's left behind doesn't make much sense. On the whole the place looks very 70s/early 80s. But then you get the one Power Ranger sticker, and the reading material from the late 90s and 2001. So where's all the other stuff from the same time period. Power Rangers was at it''s peak popularity in the mid 90s, so that means there was at least one kid old enough to watch it at that age there at the time. And yet there doesn't seem to be much else to suggest the presence of a kid of that age in that time period. Were they just completely stuck in the 70s, with one a few modern things allowed? Perplexing.

Yes i saw it coming out of the corner of the bed
Orbs are insects, dust or other particulate matter highlighted by unusual light and quirks in digital photography. This has been conclusively demonstrated time and time again. The path of that one was entirely consistent with an insect. So I suppose you are correct, they were not alone.
