What time is the fight
The only way I can see Khabib losing is if the humidity is that bad as Poirier is from down Florida side and is well used to it. Khabib is from a cold climate and could be a factor even though I see Khabib finishing him anyway but an ice cream melting in under 30 seconds that’s bad.

It’s not about sweating. Khabib is from a cold place, while Dustin is from Louisiana. Louisiana is hot and humid, I think the weather will be in Dustin favor.
I live in Texas and I hate it when I go to the gym in the summer.

Khabib has superior conditioning as well, but he has been hospitalized before due to dehydration injury before the Ferguson fight. Your body becomes more susceptible to future heat injury, this may be a factor.
He was hospitalised due to cutting too much weight imo, meaning he started his weight cut being too heavy so he could rehydrate and be massive in there fight night. Now his walk around weight is less and makes weight easier without complications. Drawback is he isn't as big come fight night as he used to be. Btw no way CSAC would let him fight at lightweight as he most definitely adds more than 10% of his weight.
@@djsulphur he was hospitalized for Rhabdomyolysis. An acute kidney injury caused by dehydration and the body's inability to clear protein waste and thus it builds up. He should be fighting at welterweight. His walk around weight they say is 200 lbs.
@@RahulSharma-bm2pg That's what I'm saying he used to walk around at around 195lbs and during camp begin his camp cut from 190ish to 155 and had problems because it was too much to cut and making it was a hit and miss. Positive being hydrates bigger (closer to his walk weight), negative being hospitalised/unable to cut but I read a recent article he now walks around at 185-187 and camp cut starts at around 180 and he's always made weight. If he was cutting from 190 to 155 his fight night weight would be closer to 180 and cutting from 180 fight night weight 175, or around 8-10lbs less.

@@monkeyx17 but khabib never shoots in that early and uses his striking to open up the takedown, something askren *never* did. Seriously go and watch askren fight and tell me one fight where he doesn't just mardy forward and try to grab his opponent. It's possible but with Khabib never doing that I just don't see it.
The Climate Control can break down in the heat. I have been to the Gulf in a few countries and it happened. The South is also very hot due to humidity, Dustin may actually have the edge here. I have seen temperatures in excess of 130 degrees Fahrenheit.
Khabib trains in California so he's familiar with heat, plus the desert gets quite cool in the evening which is when they're are fighting. Not to mention regardless of heat fighters sweat anyway
@@ivxx1106 The temperature at night time does not dip below 90 degrees Fahrenheit. During the day it ranges well above 💯, and feels like 120 degrees Fahrenheit. Not exactly bone chilling. I have spent alot time in many countries in the Middle East, it is hotter than Hell, literally.

Porier has become a great fighter in the last 2 years and is a legit threat to khabib, but khabib will do to dustin what he does to everyone else. Dustin may do better than the rest but he will still lose every round and possibly get finished. Nobody can stop khabibs takedowns so the guy to beat khabib has to be a real threat off his back. And that's why Tony Ferguson is the fight because he is one of the best in ufc of his back with strikes and submissions. I predict khabib wins and I hope we get Khabib vs Tony next.
