I’m in the U.K., using DAZN on my LG oled from 2020 saw the 1:99 thing for Canelo & jumped in. I assumed I’d cancel afterwards. But the platform is amazing. Nice bitrate. Looks crisp on my 4k 55’ tv. Nice layout, interface and everything happens instantly no buffering. I’d fully recommend this 👍🏻
No it’s ok iv3 got it. AK and Barack as well as the Mannox and Mora shows aren’t the best and could be done so much better. But no gripes with the documentaries and the fight coverage to the price point. Value for money..

In fairness, between the Matchroom RUclips content and the DAZN presentation/documentaries, the content has been really, really good recently. They need to improve the commentary team without doubt, but generally speaking, I think this is a good move.

Good insight there John. As this interview was unfolding I couldn't help but think EH has positioned himself as the boxing equivalent of Dana from the UFC. And in that respect, we're seeing now a UFC "world champion" and moving forward Matchroom/DAZN could well end up doing much the same in boxing.
Eddie openly admits he admires Dana’s drive, platform and publicly copies his content etc. And no reason not to. The UFC are great at what they do. With the DAZN platform, multi millions of pounds in backing; he can systematically wipe out all the lesser known promoters. Then, when Matchroom are so far ahead of the game, and the way people digest content will have changed again, Matchroom set up their own streaming platform (maybe a TV channel) and take over completely. Be done with these jokes that are the sanctioning bodies with their intercontinental this and franchise that. One champion at one weight. I personally like the idea of it.

Good insight there John. As this interview was unfolding I couldn't help but think EH has positioned himself as the boxing equivalent of Dana from the UFC. And in that respect, we're seeing now a UFC "world champion" and moving forward Matchroom/DAZN could well end up doing much the same in boxing.
Eddie openly admits he admires Dana’s drive, platform and publicly copies his content etc. And no reason not to. The UFC are great at what they do.
With the DAZN platform, multi millions of pounds in backing; he can systematically wipe out all the lesser known promoters. Then, when Matchroom are so far ahead of the game, and the way people digest content will have changed again, Matchroom set up their own streaming platform (maybe a TV channel) and take over completely. Be done with these jokes that are the sanctioning bodies with their intercontinental this and franchise that. One champion at one weight.
