- Clearing the Divi Static CSS Files Cache is an effective way to fix various design issues. In this video, I’ll show you how to schedule the Divi Cache to be cleared weekly, daily, hourly or at any interval you like - automatically.
👉 Here is the blog post mentioned in the video: divimundo.com/...
Not many, if any, Divi users are aware of that the Divi Static CSS Files Cache is cleared automatically once a month by default. This is triggered by a so called Cron job with the hook et_core_page_resource_auto_clear (et is short for Elegant Themes, the developers of Divi).
Does it sound complicated? Well, this is the same system that is used to preform most scheduled events in WordPress, like checking for recent plugin updates or scheduling a post to be published at a certain date and time.

Hi,
My et_core_page_resource_auto_clear in the Action field says "None" So i think the hook is not connected to any action.
Any idea how i can fix it ?
@@Backstreet355 Hi! Is “Static CSS File Generation” enabled in Divi > Theme Options > Builder > Advanced?
@@DiviMundo Hi! Thanks for your reply, i fixed it.
If we delete the plugin, will the cron job be reset to default once each month?
Yes, but there are some exceptions according to the plugin documentation, but I can't that happen in this case: wp-crontrol.com/docs/deactivation/
