Proud of y’all! Jalena, you have been blessed with your Issac. Issac, you have been blessed with Jalena. And of course Ember has been the motivation when things are hard. I’ve watched y’all through some rough times. But wow you both have beaten the odds! I’m just as proud of y’all as a 58 year old could be. Love the sweet baby Ember. She wants me to rock her to sleep. ❤
Ember has grown up so much just in the last few months. I haven't caught a live video in maybe 3 months and now she's walking everywhere, carrying her own stuff, having conversations, etc!! My goodness, so precious!
You need a foldable stool that you can put under a seat in the truck. I use one to get in and out of a 15 passenger van that we rent when we want the whole family traveling together. The van is just too high for this old lady to handle. The stool folds flat. It is used in our house for our grandchildren to stand on at sink. Very versatile and would help you reach the latches.
At what age in the US are you able to have your children facing front in their safety seats Jaylena and Isaac? From my experience, any travel sickness is because everything is back to front for the little ones. They are watching everything in such a way, opposite to their travel, that affects their equilibrium. Once forward facing, in time, with more movement, it all is as it should be, with no more being sick.... 🤞
Ditto on this post, face her front that's her whole problem. I know and worse she's in the back, I know you can't place her un the front seat. Try an experiment on a back road to check if these changes help. She won't grow out of it till she can face front. 😢
@@dodydunquez8922 exactly. I know that when I had to sit on a 4 wh drive tray, facing backwards, many years ago, I was nauseous the whole time. This is Embers problem and sadly, to keep them safer on the roads, it's something that so many children and their parents have to go through.
The channel DIYeffrent did a DIY bus build and Doug used a computer fan to run that didn’t suck energy and was super quiet to combat the condensation from breathing etc. he hard wired it somehow - the video is a few years ago but a great idea especially for the small vehicles.
Love your camper set up I’ve been looking at getting one of these in the future. As of the condensation issues I used to use propane heat, and the problem we had was the condensation. We moved over to diesel heater and haven’t had any issues with condensation. That’s why we are using that instead of the propane heater.
Glad you guys were able to get something that works with where you are at in life to still allow you to make memories with your family. We are currently building out a bus and reference your old videos to help with our build.

The beach shots with y'all as a family was so sweet, I really enjoyed watching Isaac and you enjoying Ember, what beautiful memories y'all are making. Blessings 3
I am looking forward to the video. Everyone looks so happy, Merry Christmas and best wishes to you! I see many wonderful memories and adventures in the future.
Maybe get Ember a little cat Beanie Baby to start carrying around with her since she’s used to cats too. It would be easy to go inside places with something small she can hold close under chin next to her. We always kept one for going to places with our daughter and it worked great!!! Just let her get used to inside the house and keep it in Her bed and have her put it down to go night night too and such !
The scenes as a family on the beach are breathtaking! Always keep your family close and everything you do should be for them. You will look back in 20 yrs and thank yourself. Well done, Isaac.
This was great. We have a Tundra also and would love to get something like this. It will be awhile til we can do it but always checking things out. Really liked this one.

Loving this new popup guys! Looks so cosy! Lovely to see you both take some time out from working hard on your project and making beautiful memories with Ember love it!
Hi jaylena and Issac. Ember seemed to enjoy it. You gave a honest review. I don’t know if it has ac or if you never said. My four year old granddaughter still gets motion sickness and is 4. We wont let her play with a toy or look out side windows and try to help her enjoy the views from the windshield by saying look at those and such. She so far can take 1/2 hour but I can see in face when she starts. We have smooth rides so thats not the issue. We have ac on but have to roll down windows for fresh air when she gets that look. We live in Florida so we have to keep it cool. Right now it’s not miserable hot so rolling down windows is good with the air. We have to stop somewhere and take a short walk before riding again. The car seat made it so much worse. We have the booster seat now which is so much better. She cant have anything tight on her or she gets claustrophobic, which I think is part of her problem. They say that some outgrow it and I hope shes one of them. I pray for all children with this. It’s miserable for them.
That was an honest review, I agree they need to have fans usable in the rain, we fan the MaxxAir fans that are usable in rain and it’s safer with pets too

That Jelly Belly factory looked fun! LOVED watching your camping experience - great editing! Living and making memories! That's what it's all about! Much love to you three! ❤See you next time. 🤗
Re condensation Isaac, I would be getting professional advice. With three bods enclosed in there, it's to be expected. As you know. You need it to be able to be vented somehow, some way, 100% of the time. I'm only one bod, but in my 6 yrs fulltime van life, having my vent open, to some degree, all the time, My side slider is open all the time, when at a standstill. I quite literally have no condensation. But I manage with no heating, as often as possible, so that most definitely helps stop that. That brand of heater has been on the market here for some time.
Cover windows so she can’t see the landscape, only thing that helped me when my grandson was little. Even when sitting forward, because if he looked down to read or play with a toy, then looked up suddenly, the peripheral movement caused him to become dizzy and nauseous. He was miserable, and so were we. We decided to try blocking any visual movement and it worked! Give it a try, wouldn’t hurt. I bought some pleated magnetic window covers, which are also light blockers. Hope she turns a corner with the motion sickness soon. Hope you had a very Merry Christmas and have a blessed 2024! 🥰🙏🏽✌🏽🫶🏽
@@isaacturnerit still cover the windows, it’s the peripheral movement that could be causing the problem. I hope that helps. Peppermint candy or oil also helps with nausea, which I always have handy as I get migraines quite frequently. Only time I didn’t get sea sick was when I face painted on the Royal Caribbean’s Allure of the Sea. It’s the their largest ship, I felt no movement whatsoever. Granted I never went to the top to look out over the rails, or looked out of the port holes, I stuffed towels in them so I couldn’t see the horizon dipping. I feel so badly for her, and you two!
After you close everything get yourself an adjustable step stool, a storage bin that you could store in an storage bin on the roof of the pickup truck if room and when you have the money for an adjustable step stool, a storage bin although it seems that you are requiring the adjustable step stool, promptly so you can reach the clamps to look the rooftop down. Sincerely! R.S.V.
Drive through the tree in California used to be free. Here is San Antonio, TX it used to be free up to 2019 to visit the inside of the Alamo, now you have buy a ticket for $16 per person to go inside of the Alamo!
have you tried some ginger tea for her with some honey or chamomile? I'm guessing once she is a bit older and can turn around her tummy may do better .. great point on the condensation..
Looks like a really nice topper! A couple of things we always did back in the day when truck top camping - when available we always went for sites where we’d be under a dense canopy of trees in chances of heavy rainfalls & also to keep us out of the blaring sun on hot days, also we always backed the truck into the site for more privacy when we had the door open. Ours was an older style of topper with a solid roof, so we’d just crack a window a tiny bit at night to handle condensation. My favorite camping is tent camping because I love to listen to nature throughout the night, but yeah if you’re going to party-type events you might want to go for the camping spots out by the border lines for less noise, hopefully. Enjoy, enjoy, enjoy! 🙂👍🏼

you are correct about not watching a screen. I have also read not to look down which when
watching a screen is exactly what we do. My next paragraph will explain why that makes
sense because of one cause with SIGHT & BALANCE.
Carsickness can occur regardless if they’re in a forward-facing car seat or rear-facing car
seat. Even adults get carsick when facing forward. Although there many be any number of
causes, the most common cause is mixed signals in the brain. Sight and balance come in
conflict, & causes the person to feel sick. Motion sickness is due to a disconnect between

Sincerely!

Love the truck camper. Those latches are easy and adjustable. Hook it first then push up the outside part.

Thanks for being here
have you tried some ginger tea for her with some honey or chamomile? I'm guessing once she is a bit older and can turn around her tummy may do better .. great point on the condensation..
I will try the ginger tea. Thank you for watching
Love the topper
Thanks yoo
Thanks for the tips!
