When i first saw her on the debut teaser, her image is so diva-ish and cold, but she is none like that. Her way of talking is soooooo calm and magnetic. Also, the harsh reality of the entertainment industry is that looks and appearances are often just as important factors as talent. And there is really nothing wrong with being beautiful and using it as a “talent”. We make do with what we have. And that’s just how the world works.
@Rê R Look, I think you are a bit too heated to see things through logically. In fact, I'd say you are the one who is out of touch with reality. Of course it would be nice if the world only judged based on how a person is on the inside, rather than focusing on their appereance. But the truth of our society is that looks are unfortunately given far more importance than it should be. People are more likely to be hired if they are attractive (at normal cooperate jobs, not even entertainment!) and generally are treated not with the same standards as "average" ones. That is not only a weakness of Kpop, but in our society as a whole. So until you are able to change the reality of the world we live in, your comments will lead to absolutely nowhere. And it still does not make sense to me to bash Karina just because she profits from this superficial system. Many idols do - it is literally their job to conform and surpass the ideals of beauty and society. The more vehement and personal your comments, the more it seems like you are just jealous and less than you are angry about the injustice of this system. And I will not get even further into the whole Big3 privilege debate. There are enough videos and threads for that where you can argue to your hearts content. I am also satisfied with my participation in this conversation here. You have obviously made up your mind and will not change it and that is alright. But I too, stand by my point. 솔직히 얼굴 때문인 것도 있지만 목소리 너무 좋아서 매번 들어와서 본다......
The way she speaks just naturally without sounding condescending or acting like she's a know-it-all in this vlog. She's just simply sharing what she knows and what she likes and what she usually do, she's so simple but so endearing tbh. She's also soft spoken and from the previous videos, you can see how good she treats her members. Her parents really did a great job raising her, she grew up so well. It's still mind-blowing to me how can someone be so pretty, talented, has a great body, and also have such a pleasing personality like Karina. She's not God's favorite, she's the goddess herself.
That's why she was so popular and loved in her school, her former classmates have stated that Karina has always been a sweet, humble, kind, friendly and pleasant girl.
