@@Nonbasics dude i wish, my HG experience this season has just been dudes turning out right at the start so they can cheese you by boarding and sailing your ship out of the arena. that and a lot of loss farmers who just afk and wait for you to sink them
Hey just remember while you might be bad now, the only way to get better is to try. Don't worry about not being good at cannon aim and TDM skills, those are things that come with time. The thing you should focus on is what bad decisions lead up to you sinking in your previous fight and how you can avoid repeating those mistakes in the future.

I would reccomend trying higher sensitivity, going for boards sometimes, and choosing one set of weapons that are the only ones you use so you can get used to it. Past that its really just practice.

I think I'm at the 3000hr mark. But to be honest I used to be more on the alliance server I need that gold grind. I started playing in the hungering deep and only cared about stacking for loads of money, avoided pvp like a hemorrhoid. Now I'm trying to actually play the game as intended

Take off camera shake please it will help a lot and use better cannons sailor ones work best but that general design will help. Also stop using the sword as a solo and if your good enough not an all, it sucks and only is good if you get someone trapped, blunder snipe is best.
@@JJLovessot I'll turn camera shake off but I'm not using double gun. I play to have fun and I enjoy the movement the sword gives. I'm not using double gun because it's not fun sword and pistol is my favorite loadout, you can still be good with a sword it's just a skill issue on my behalf. And about the cannons I disagree it's preference I prefer the home crusher or the ones from the last plunder pass but it's all preference

If you are new to HG, you should really not do solo sloop. People say it's the best way to learn but it really isn't. You can't focus on hitting cannons if you are always out of angle for example. Duo is way better to learn.
Don't worry I'm not new to HG for some reason I was just playing awful yesterday I can win matches and I can actually play just my skill is really inconsistent. I'm not bad at canons it's just I've not played pvp in a while, the last time I played hourglass I was drinking grog for a video and my screen was really spinny so I just played it while my character was drunk
@@NonbasicsI've played a lot of hourglass drunk and it was surprisingly not that bad, I think it was actually an improvement to my hand to hand combat. Also it's funny to see someone about the same servants of the flame level as me.

@@yono367 loss farming is pointless to me the amount of xp you gain is negligible it takes too long

Hourglass drunk was genuinely funny, I say it was awful from a leveling up wise but it really was fun to do I laughed a lot but it got cut out I think
