When I first got in the RCs I got this video and it was think it was 2011 I enjoy this video then he built the big green and silver one that was his next airplane I watched him a lot he's a good pilot the fly those beautiful warbirds
_Thank you for your kind words. Much appreciated !_ 😉👍 This is the latest model, Franz has built ... ruclips.net/video/PScaNTBCKNI/видео.html *enjoy* 😎🤘
That is the most realistic looking, flying and sounding scale aircraft I have ever seen. How wonderful. It could easily be used in film making with P-47s so rare it would be perfect.
I just watched a video of a truely massive Rc C47 with 2 7cyl 800cc radial engines. Sadly it was only engine test and they found out the engines aren’t powerful enough.
Thank you so much for posting this video, it is absolutely remarkable how well the pilot/builder Flyes this gem, this work of art of a model warbird. I love this hobby.
My dear Brother rode a Honda 750 Chopper for 20 years, painted all over with hobbits and Wizards and Dragons. He could not have loved that machine MORE. ....UNLESS it sounded like this beautifully crafted RC aircraft!! Thank you for sharing this video!
I've watched several of your videos and they are all very enjoyable. The cameraman does an excellent job of following the subject. I admire the craftsmanship as well as the flying skills. Best of all, we get to hear the little Moki radials instead of annoying music. Thanks for posting these videos.
This is of course completely correct. There are people in this hobby who can afford it and savor their dream of flying in a near-realistic a model as possible. With the current methods, the models can be replicated very prototypical. It is important that the pilot enjoy flying his own model.
I have to say, when I first learned about RC, 1/4 scale and the other ratio of these aircraft I looked at videos online. But I had the opportunity to actually walk up to 40-50 in person. It is amazing to see the attention to detail down to the exact replica of the real deal. Also the sounds of the aviation industrial mock up power plant. These men and women definitely are extremely knowledgeable and talented group of individuals. Beautiful works of historical history. Hats off to you all. 👍👍👍👍👍
Respect, respect, respect !! I can't stop watching this video. That radial sound is so lazy an so authentic. Also the take-off and landing so so like the full-size P47. What a fantastic model and pilot. Well done Franz !!!
What a spectacular piece of work! And the Engine sounds just like the P-47, what a wonderful engine 400 cc! My first Motorcycle was 350 cc LOL. Thanks for sharing this with us. Chris Minor Retired USAF
Thank you for your compliments, _Chris_. Much appreciated. Oh yes, this 5 cyl. radial is something special. You should hear it in person :) _Best regards, RCSA_
Thank you RCSA for posting these great videos of aircraft that I have loved since I was a young boy. It does my old heart good to watch these great war birds fly again. Your the best on you tube!
I think the most realistic sounding engine from an R/C rotary engine fighter of the period, adding greatly to the authenticity and the smoke screen at the end.. fantastic!!!
Very Realistic Sound. Posted on a few of your videos. Never gave mention of Professionalism of the Videographer. Very Professional, Sharp Focus and Great Audio, even at distance. When it comes to Building, Flying and Recording your Celebrations, I Salute You All. Not old enough to have flown these Warbirds, but you put me there, right in the cockpit. Thanks
Excellent flying skills, the landing was great! Love the sound of that engine, absolutely lovely, great camera work too. Thanks for uploading this Vid.
RCScaleAirplanes Mr, my first motorcycle had a 50cc smaller engine than that thing is!!!! What an amazing aircraft! Ol' Jug is my favorite WW2 aircorp plane!
Wonderful aircraft, wonderful video of it and the audio...the sound of those big Moki radials both warms the heart and makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up at the same time. Well done !
This is an exceptional video. The sound of this plane is menacing. It reminds me of that fabulous scene in North by North West when Cary Grant is harrassed by the crop duster.
Beautiful machine, expertly flown...rare to see in RC vids, are the "low rpm" cruise speed flyby, excellent !... that's what real ones were capable of, thanks for posting
Man!, that thing sounds as awsome as it looks! .... and it's so nice to see a pilot that can do a realistic landing as well ... props to the camera man as well. Great job.
Someone had something like this out at Folsom Lake last year and it blew my mind to find out it was a scale plane. I was out hiking and just kept watching it fly around the lake then got to the parking lot where it was being operated from and am still blown away by the memory.
What a beautiful aircraft. The combination of airplane engine and piloting made my day. The videography was outstanding as well, You guys are a team. fantastic !!!!!!!!!!!!!.
Many thanks Usman for your kind comment. Maybe it was not the pilot that the images were not smooth, but I myself behind the camera? (ツ) Best regards, RCSA
Thank you for your kind comment. This plane is scratch built and therefore I can't tell you exactly how much it cost. The engine is about $6,000, gears, electronic and others another $2,000 ... the homemade bodyshell certainly costs about $ 1,000 - $ 1,500 .... total price ~ $10K
I think that two of them will be powerful enough to lift a small UL plane in the air. The Moki 400 are very reliable ! Thanks for watching and commenting my video.
Once read a comment that put it well: "You don't start a radial engine - you let it wake up." That appears to apply these Moki 400s as well as the real warbirds - as seen at Oshkosh, for example.
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍, that's because I could only click the thumbs up button once on that, between the sound of those Moki engines and the attention to detail you guys put in those planes it's hard to tell the difference between those and a P47 doing a fly by at an airshow in these videos, WOW!!! I used to fly RC helicopters 40 years ago when I was in high school, after graduating and enlisting in the Army and then everything else that's come along in life it's been years since I've been around the RC world and it just amazes me how far all that's come over the years. Good job 👌👌👌, this makes me want to get back into it.

That Moki engine really makes the plane. Beautifully done on all levels.
That is by far the best sounding model plane I have ever come across. Loved it, and thanks for sharing it.
_Thank you very much for your kind comments !_
Much appreciated !!!
@@RCScaleAirplanes the sound alone is worth the $6K I bought an evolution Engine for my Corsair was terribly disappointed! =(
I just watched a video of a truely massive Rc C47 with 2 7cyl 800cc radial engines. Sadly it was only engine test and they found out the engines aren’t powerful enough.
Absolutely the best I've ever heard
What a magnificent aircraft!!! And that Moki radial engine, wow! What a sound!! Excellent flying too!! Thanks for sharing!!
Thanks! No gyro or other features were build in this plane. This is pure pilot skill ツ
Thank you so much for posting this video, it is absolutely remarkable how well the pilot/builder Flyes this gem, this work of art of a model warbird. I love this hobby.
That was a thrill to behold! The flight, the sound, the videography, all excellent!!
This is how a rc scale warbird should be. Scale flying with a good sound of a radial engine.
Many thanks for your cool comment. Much appreciated.
Those Moki engines sound fantastic especially when doing a strafing run!
My dear Brother rode a Honda 750 Chopper for 20 years, painted all over with hobbits and Wizards and Dragons. He could not have loved that machine MORE. ....UNLESS it sounded like this beautifully crafted RC aircraft!! Thank you for sharing this video!

Keeping it in tight and close! Great display. This is why I love radials over jets (even though I fly a jet for a living).

Thank you very much for your great comment. You're absolutely right. Nothing sounds better than a 4 stroke radial engine.

I always get a big kick out of watching this Pilot & thunderbolt. great job.
My Lord! SHE SOUNDS LIKE A REAL P-47! Excellent craftsmanship sir!
That's one hell of a motor. Never thought I'd hear an RC plane sound like that.
Probably one of if not the best P47 in the world. Plane looks and sounds amazing
Totally agree. Moki is icing on the cake. Beautiful plane, craftsmanship, everything. Probably the best P-47 vid I've seen, and I've seen a few.
Absolutely Beautiful razorback,I love giants with big Mokis. Their sound just gets me.

It's so nice to see a takeoff without the engine screaming full throttle for a change. Almost scale sound! Beautiful bird and nice flying!
Ein Gänsehautflieger!
Tolles Flugzeug, genialer Sound und wieder spitze geflogen.

You got that right!
Besten Dank für Dein Lob. Franz wird sich sicher darüber freuen !!!
I think this is the best sounding RC plane ive ever heard. I could fly it all day just for that noise!

Wahnsinns Sound und super geflogen - da träumt der kleine RC-Flieger!
400er Moki sieht und hört man nicht alle Tage :)
Vielen Dank für deinen tollen Kommentar !
STILL breathtaking ;-). i forgot how wonderful this model was!
"Red,❤ leader, this is Blue,💙 leader standing by, we're coming to your help?"
I love the sound of the engine, could actually stand in a movie.
If Moki made an audio cd of their engines, I'd probably sit in my truck all day listening to it...
"Hang on red,❤ squadron, help from blue,💙 squadron is the way?" 😼
I keep coming back just to hear that sound! Love it!
*_Thanks. I'm glad to know you liked the video !_*

I nearly wet may pants with the sound of the slow flyby and the landing approach while a little on and off the throttle was spot on IMHO
Thanks Jack for your nice comment, which I greatly appreciate.
What beautiful engine notes, and disciplined, and talented piloting skills! Your creation is inspiring. Thanks for posting!
Many thanks Peter for your kind comment !!! Stay tuned ★
