I’m actually a pretty good surge, I have him at 950 and in brawl ball and hot zone I usually have a 1.5.-2.5 kd and can make a lot of trick goals with the jump and control the zone for long. He’s a brawler with an average skill floor but a high skill ceiling.
Whenever I see a Fertilized Spike I always feel so impressed. Not that Fertilized Spike is particularly hard to play, I just got so used to people brainlessly using Curveball in every scenario
when u play lower ranks the enemies don't know how to dodge curveball but when higher rank they know how curveball works so fertilize is generally better
Crow randoms getting bopped in bounty or any kill-focused mode and struggling to get first super, Colt randoms thinking they're 'him' (outside of heist), Tick in hotzone where everyone can ignore them all game, Surge drafted on a range favored maps and never making it to lvl 2, Bo instant pick when there are stronger brawlers available, etc. You can tell how low skill HC fang is when they waste a super after there are no targets around, implying they were spamming auto aim super.
I've also seen a LOT of npcs playing Emz. They're awfully terrible. Either they use the 2nd gadget, or either they use the 1st one and waste it. And then they can't help getting close to everyone just to end up dying.
You forgot Buzz, I hate randoms the most when using Buzz they are beyond horrible and have a hitrate of 0% when it comes to hitting their hooks. All they do is walk around and die over and over again doing nothing for the team. Most of them end up with like 5k damage, 0-9 at the end of the match.
Hi Spen, I think a good video idea for Ranked mode would be about picking strategies. It's not only about who counters which brawlers. You can present some screenshots which say 3 out of 6 brawlers have been selected. Based on the map and the brawlers our team and the other team have picked, what should this next player pick to counter the enemy team, but also works well with our team. Sometime the thinking can be complecated. Love your content.

You forgot to talk about Mandy mains. They just stand still hoping to hit their long-range shots, without even trying to avoid the opponents' shots. And they think they are good when they randomly shoot their super and kill the opposing team that wasn't even inside their vision range. I really have played with very few good Mandy players.

I will say for Kit, whether you're playing him, or your teammate is one, they're always just NPCs. You jump on someone with Kit right in front of them, and suddenly they want to conserve ammo, or if they're playing Kit, they do what you said.
There's still one final NPC brawler: Emz. Bro, I see a lot of Emz in open maps in my team, like in Knockout, Bounty, Time Detonation, or every other open map, and they always get negative KD and do nothing the whole match

The Tick part actually reminded me of an actual random I got on my team once on ring of fire. He went to the spot you said on the map and one of the first things the enemy team did was break that wall he was hiding behind. Yet still every time he respawned he would still always go to that same spot like the wall was still there.

Brocket Brown, based skin. Tbf we all have bad wifi as of late, the servers are so bad I lag in Training Cave while standing still. It's unreal. And to make it worse, you are literally stuck in place when desync happens. Something about the state of the game as a whole I feel like is that the game's rarities are really arbitrary. A lot of the Legendaries just suck, but they're also really toxic and popular. Like Spike and Crow are terrible Brawlers, but they succeed so much on Ladder because they absolutely destroy underleveled picks and are really simple to play. Contrast that with a pick like Colt who is strong and high skill, and unlocked in the first hour of the game. I can't be the only one who thinks the recent changes to monetization were in response to them knowing players didn't care enough about experimenting because hunkering down with one main was working too well for them, so instead they rewarded them with more ways to score easy wins, in the form of stuff like Hypercharge and Level 11.

omg. 😭 thank you for bringing up Tick on Ring of Fire. That's my favorite map and mode and it drives me absolutely crazy. Tick is not good in hot zone everyone. Stop playing him in Ring of Fire, I'm begging you!! All he does is invite spawn campers and then you have to try and protect your useless Tick instead of completing the objective so pleaseeeeee stop playing Tick in hot zone. Tbf we all have bad wifi as of late, the servers are so bad I lag in Training Cave while standing still. It's unreal. And to make it worse, you are literally stuck in place when desync happens.
Something about the state of the game as a whole I feel like is that the game's rarities are really arbitrary. A lot of the Legendaries just suck, but they're also really toxic and popular. Like Spike and Crow are terrible Brawlers, but they succeed so much on Ladder because they absolutely destroy underleveled picks and are really simple to play. Contrast that with a pick like Colt who is strong and high skill, and unlocked in the first hour of the game. I can't be the only one who thinks the recent changes to monetization were in response to them knowing players didn't care enough about experimenting because hunkering down with one main was working too well for them, so instead they rewarded them with more ways to score easy wins, in the form of stuff like Hypercharge and Level 11.
