dust is actually about someone who hasn't moved on from someone they loved romantically and are still stuck in the past. I believe the song "dust" can change the meaning based on us too; you can dedicate it to the friendship you had lost and drifted away from or your parents who left you, etc. Personally, i relate to it but with the friendship i am still yearning for though i don't want them back, really. anyway, the dust represents whatever remains from the relationship. woozi said that the "huu huu" part there was actually like blowing the dust off which is really wise. while reading others' thought about dust, I also realized that maybe the reason why they're just blowing off the dust and not completely cleaning it properly are all because it was all that's left from the relationship and the thought of dust disappearing will make them lose their minds since that's the only thing that can remind them of the memories they don't wanna forget cause when we blow off the dust, it won't disappear and somehow will find its way back where it came from- whether it be with the clothes that are hanging on your closet or somewhere else.
