USA burlap seems to have much thicker fibers than UK burlap. We seem to have larger space between the woven strands. Makes for a more rustic look. Thanks for this tutorial. Love seeing you make things so easily!
Mrs. Jennings, I was wondering what you were doing using all different materials, I honestly thought it was not going to turn out very well. Boy was I fooled it is gorgeous. tfs Hugs XX Christine
I love these!! I loved the way you rolled the center with the removed threads. As I was watching you, my mind went to what a neat way to make a birds nest. I'm going to thread some burlap and see how it works. I have some eggs like you bought with your gift card (retirement gift). I've wanted to make them to run down the center of my dining room table. I think this will be fantastic! Thanks so much for the idea. Tfs :)
I love them, I bought some cheesecloth but soon learned that it's not what you are using. It looks more like your netting and it just fell apart when I cut it.
Hi Fiona. I love your tutorials, thank you! I wonder where you buy your glueguns. They seem to have a narrow nozzle and with a bit length to them. Here in Norway all mini glueguns have such a short nozzle that makes it difficult to get the glue in the right place. Keep the inspiration going, and teach us more :D
They seem to be more beautiful , each time I make one...
Loved these, marilyn from Australia
Thank you so much :0)

They are beautiful. Can you wear these as a brooch on your clothes? And how would you put the pin in there?
You can wear any of the flowers that I make as brooches :0)
