- We parked up in a quiet spot by the river for the night hoping to get an early night. Here in France, in the UK it was the Queen's funeral so we got an extra day's holiday and here in France, it's a normal working day.
😜 I did it! so proud of myself Thank you Aérocom Montgolfières in Chenonceau, we loved it!
🎈Something that's been on my bucket list for a while but each time I saw them I couldn't bring myself to do it (Cat). This time I felt it was the right time and place and a nice thing to do for our anniversary. We don't get each other materialistic presents and we've not done anything in 7 years for our anniversary so it was about time. We only live once and experiences beat any materialistic gift.
👍 I'm so glad we did it. It was bloody fantastic and a memory I'll never forget.
🏰 We parked at Chaumont for the day. It's known for its historical defensive walls and its castle and is a lovely place. We didn't get back until 8pm and we were so high on adrenalin afterward for ages.

We’re Chris, Cat, and Rolo our chocolate labrador. We live full time in our self-converted 7.5 tonne DAF LF 45 Lorry traveling around Europe. We've traveled in motorhomes for over 15 years all over Europe and I cat lived in a motorhome in NZ traveling over 25 years ago with my girls then aged 3 months and 3 years old. Motorhoming and traveling are not new to us it has been a way of life for many years but we decided life is too short and we wanted to live a simpler life and go full-time. We downsized from a 4-bedroom family home to buy our 7.5-tonne lorry and spent two years converting our lorry to become our tiny home on wheels. it was a grueling and hard slog building our own tiny home on wheels but worth it in the end, as we have our own unique home to travel with on wheels.
We moved into Florry The Lorry at the end of February 2018 and have since been touring around Europe. We love our SMALL home, BIG adventures, and will continue to have many adventures and life in Florry wherever that may be. Stay Safe. Hugs, Cat, Chris & Rolo (FLorry The Lorry)

Hi, I have a 7.5 ton DAF LF 45 that's now registered as a motor caravan.
I'm struggling with insurance. Can I ask who you have insurance with and a guide price. Mines a 2012 reg
I've been told a few times the engine is too big at 4.5lt lol.
I think they think it's a sports car.
