That's a clip for the highlight reel if I've ever seen one. Probably one of the ones that spawns a whole highlight-volume running gag, especially if they keep doing it past this episode.
Last episode touched on it, but this has even more of a "slowly growing apart as we grow older" vibe. Time to change hearts and win minds with the power of RAGDOLL! flop .... flip flop rollrollrollroll
I feel like I've been hearing Dan slip into Frog Detective voice now and then in other videos. I cannot overstate how okay I am with that. :) And the idea of him slipping into it dealing with Carrie is very wholesome.
Had to get the game and blaze through it to keep watching without getting spoiled. DO NOT STOP PLAYING UNTIL YOU ARE DONE WITH EVERYTHING (it's not that hard, very rewarding!)
This game is great and so adorable so far!! I loved the little fact at the beginning about how in conversations between Carrie and Dan, frog Detective sort of slips out sometimes in response, it's so sweet and funny. Also, coming up with this many voices for this many characters can be tough, but I think you two are doing a good job! Lovely episode 2, can't wait for what episode 3 brings, have a good weekend and upcoming week you two!!
6:00: Checks out, mud pies are also brown. 23:25: To be fair, the explicitly-designed slimes are even harder to get out of your head. Even if you actively try. 33:50: You must not know much about kids. 44:40: Water in the fire? _Why?_ Not understand... 50:00: Kid, you're faster than the hero, you just can't run more than six steps at a time. You need to learn to pace yourself. 1:35: It would be fun if Frog Detective was an uncle figure to Li'l Gator. 11:15: Either that or multiplying the small number of big trashes into a large number of little trashes. 14:25: There are a lot of waterfalls, it feels like you should be able to do _something_ with them (eventually). 22:50: That's a good world design philosophy. Or at least, it's good to have a vague but intuitive world design philosophy like that. 24:35: There should be some kind of first-person exploration game set in one of those old wooden playground castle things. Or at least, like, a spooky magic dimension created by putting a MacGuffin on one of them. That is such a great aesthetic (which is an objective fact and not just a consequence of my nostalgia for a playground whose towering wooden edifices have been replaced by smaller, colorful easier-to-maintain...things). 32:10: Roxas isn't fully human, but he's not a monster either. 39:15: Yeah, why would a sheep like floof? 52:40: "Unlike me, who's making up imaginary hero work!"
I like the idea of a wooden playground structure (or a BIG suburb area, with multiple ones, and you move the macgruffin...) ... and there's a plot to replace them all with the plastic kind... for the safty of the children.. and one of the endings is you go in, you don't come out, and they all get replaced, bad end.
Somehow, _failing_ to ragdoll down the cliff on that first attempt ended up being funnier than actually doing it. Also I don't remember any of those wooden playgrounds having "that one cube" that was separated from the others, but that comment did awaken buried memories of one I visited as a kid where a bunch of enclosed segments were linked up together with no ways in or out except at the ends. Like a maze except there's only one path. And probably there was no roof on most of the parts because otherwise it would be pitch black inside.
Got this game right after last week's video and finished it yesterday (busy week). I was giggling all the time. PS.: Ragdoll is no doubt the best feature in this game.
The whole skipping rocks thing unlocked some memories... and I suddenly feel really old, because I haven't done that in almost two decades. It's a weird catharsis to get just right, esp when you get it just right going up a stream or something and can just watch it go. EDIT 15:53 That expression and pose is such a mood. One I relate to so often. EDIT2 23:38 you know... that caught me off guard. If Dan Jones had said that, I would not have blinked, but Floyd (is he still Prime?) casually dropping explicit slime art got me.
Did you know? Cardinals are dioecius. Meaning there are distingt disparities between male and female. In this case, male cardinals are crimson red. Wile females are more of wheat yellow. So, all postals of "Merry Cristmas" with a couple of cardinals in a nest are gay cardinals.
Okay, I don't normally do this, but now TWO channels are doing this game. Here I am, watching two people do the same game, and for the third time it's because YOU TWO are one of the channels.
My younger bro did Donald Duck perfectly. When he was still dating his girlfriend wife, I remember them sitting in my Our mom's living room, and he told her several times that he loved her, in pure Donald Duck. She burst out laughing, recognizing the voice, and said, I'm in love with a dyck!
Floyd, later, going up to the Paragons: Hey, you should TOTALLY take a break on your science stuff and help me with my game. Look at all this cool stuff I found going around the island! * opens his hands to reveal an ancient-looking fork, an ancient-looking coin, and a cool bug The Paragons: :0 Gene: By George, you just helped us with our independent studies! Floyd: Uh, no I didn't?... I was playing and having fun?...
I felt kind of bad that Dan ragdolling didn't make me laugh like it did Carrie--I went all Frog Detective in response. But it was really nice to hear her laugh like that. On the other hand, that is absolutely how I laughed during yesterday's episode when Dan talked to Quirrel for the first time and "Emmons" popped up as the character's name. Did Dan Jones adjust the reveal time, or does the game just have built-in comedic timing?
Idk if its your speed but i recommend spark the electric jester 3, which is kinda one of the specifically for me games cause it feels the way Id really like a sonic platformer to feel like. Its real good huge recommend
I don't see it on your channel so I'm assuming you have not played The wild at heart. I think you both would really enjoy the game. It has a two player mode as well :)
I bought and 100%-ed the game after the last video. I am planning a challenge run: Ragdoll and bubblegum only. I have NO idea if it's possible, but I have to try >:L for SCIENCE!!!
I love how the ragdoll just breaks Carrie. Y'all are so adorable.
Yup, just .. broken. Gone. Somebody bring coffee to summon her ghost back, cause she's ded.
16:42
The irony of telling the one who's laughing "I disagree, it's quite funny" is unbelievable! XD
So these two have probably the best relationship ever
15:51 Carrie’s laugh just filled my soul. Thank you, you two for being wholesome incarnate
There's so much undiluted joy in that laugh, it's always the best part of a video when it comes out.
That's a clip for the highlight reel if I've ever seen one. Probably one of the ones that spawns a whole highlight-volume running gag, especially if they keep doing it past this episode.
I noted to an online friend on Discord a while ago that everyone should find "a Carrie" of their own. ❤
@@ZnakerFIN Find yourself someone that fills your life with as much wholesome joy as Carrie does Dan.
Honestly the two of them laughing at Dan playing with the ragdoll ability has got to be one of the highlights of this year already
Re: the frog detective response to baked goods weasels, my family has a phrase for responding to spouse nonsense: 'yes dear'
And just like that, I now question a good friend's opinion of me.
Dan being Frog Detective IRL makes complete sense. 🐸
The Ragdoll section, starting at 15:45, is INCREDIBLY Highlight Reel Worthy.
Thank you.
And so it was!
2023 Highlights Vol 1 just released and rightfully included several ragdoll clips.
The ragdoll unlocked a whole new type of wheeze giggle in me
Last episode touched on it, but this has even more of a "slowly growing apart as we grow older" vibe.
Time to change hearts and win minds with the power of RAGDOLL!
flop .... flip

This wasn't the direction I expected the Breath of the Wild sequel to go, but I'm loving it!
53:40 “I may even have to learn something.” -ah yes, the greatest sacrifice.
Had to get the game and blaze through it to keep watching without getting spoiled.
DO NOT STOP PLAYING UNTIL YOU ARE DONE WITH EVERYTHING (it's not that hard, very rewarding!)
5:46 Thats amazing and perfect

16:16 and Carrie's broken, somebody bring coffee to fix her.
So basically Carry says, oooh shiny and CHAOS!! Giggles!
Somehow, _failing_ to ragdoll down the cliff on that first attempt ended up being funnier than actually doing it. That was a valiant effort at Donald Duck, Carrie
There are probably more people who make authentic Donald Duck noises on accident than successful Donald Duck impressions.
Maybe I too can harness the power of unexpected ragdolling to escape awkward conversations you porducing even more awkward silences.
27:00 is absolutely little brother behavior
Okay, I don't normally do this, but now TWO channels are doing this game. Here I am, watching two people do the same game, and for the third time it's because YOU TWO are one of the channels.
Just need a boat mystery and this is the perfect PlayFrame game.
I think the monsters that look like pots are mimics
That's brilliant!

Our mom's living room, and he told her several times that he loved her, in pure Donald Duck. She burst out laughing, recognizing the voice, and said, I'm in love with a dyck!
I've watched this channel 2 times and they all really remind me of popularMMO.....
Love this channel
Floyd, later, going up to the Paragons: Hey, you should TOTALLY take a break on your science stuff and help me with my game. Look at all this cool stuff I found going around the island! * opens his hands to reveal an ancient-looking fork, an ancient-looking coin, and a cool bug
The Paragons: :0
Gene: By George, you just helped us with our independent studies!
Floyd: Uh, no I didn't?... I was playing and having fun?...
3:43 I legit thought you said "who would have thought gators wouldn't piss" that I fell off my chair lmao
The bracelet monkey is at every major location (lil gators friend quests). For example, climb to the very top of the tree and you'll find them.
Donald isn't the only duck with a voice. Could you not have tried Howard, Daffy, Huey etc?
Tony is lying, his board has too few squares for chess.
I felt kind of bad that Dan ragdolling didn't make me laugh like it did Carrie--I went all Frog Detective in response. But it was really nice to hear her laugh like that.

This game is great. Then rag doll. This is it. Thank you for sharing this adventure!! 🤣 😂
My sister has decided that Dan I know sounds like dino and has decided that you are a Dan-I-nosourus rex.
Ragdoll is the best power up I've ever seen
I'm not sure what's better, rag-dolling or bubblegum
Also Tiffany's voice has some Minnie Mouse energy
This is the game and episode that broke Carrie
What a cute game! Thanks for introducing me!
Every game that comes out from now on needs to have a "ragdoll" button.
41:06 Science teacher here; I thought the same thing when I got to this point 😂🐮⚪
Idk if its your speed but i recommend spark the electric jester 3, which is kinda one of the specifically for me games cause it feels the way Id really like a sonic platformer to feel like. Its real good huge recommend
More Lil Gator! Huzzah!
The Dan jokes are getting out of Dand.
Shield jumping is the fastest way to move/swim
2:26 "Naruto-running through the forest." Just you wait, Carrie. Just you wait...
...
...for Other Dans Week. It's Day 9, by the way.
33:39 Perfect error message!
I don't see it on your channel so I'm assuming you have not played The wild at heart. I think you both would really enjoy the game. It has a two player mode as well :)
I think those tall thing rock monsters are Stalagmites
15:40 Clip for the 2023 highlights
I bet there's some incredibly exploitable physics jank you can get up to with ragdoll.
I bought and 100%-ed the game after the last video.
I am planning a challenge run: Ragdoll and bubblegum only.
I have NO idea if it's possible, but I have to try >:L for SCIENCE!!!
I was JUST WATCHING a let's player try to do a Donald Duck voice playing Kingdom Hearts and they had the same exact problem
When the game crashed I thought RUclips was lagging
15:37
You should let Carrie play sometimes.
💙
Says game wasn’t designed for them. Then spends an hour proving it was.
Cutest Gator game ever!! ^w^
Played by the cutest couple of the channel!! ^w^)/b
