What a privilege to have owned and experienced these 2 great watches. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and experience on both.
Between the two, I really prefer the aluminum bezel. There's that particular color and sheen it has that is a very unique and pleasantly eye catching.

Great video and so sad what flippers and social media have done to the joy of purchasing and owning these great watches.

I never bought any of my Rolex's for investment, but rather to wear and enjoy . I still have my first GMT MASTER , a 1968 ref 1675 "long E" (mk1) . Absolutely love this watch . Some years ago I purchased a GMT MASTER II Batman , and I absolutely love that watch as well , but there's definitely something about my first Rolex GMT that I still like as much as the day I bought it. I 100% get what your saying about your first one as well . Great video.

Sinn is now what Rolex used to be. I love the EZM1 on your wrist better than the pepsis.

This is my grail for sure. It has been easier to wait with so many other Pepsi options like Certina, Lorier, Steinhart etc. but there’s only one! I have a few…but the 18K price tag is steep. Decided to keep my wife instead lol.

tbh i never understood the appeal of the pepsi, maybe because rolex doesnt do anything new, small changes are the only thing that we can talk about

Arguably the strength of the brand, though I get it's not for everyone

A consistent design language is important in both maintaining status and recognition of the models. A Rolex made in the 50s or 60s can be held in comparison to one sold today rather than being seen as totally obsolete. New models are obvious mechanically superior, but then they also gain a sense of heritage in the fact they look similar to those that came before.

The reason why you can spot a Rolex on someone's wrist is because their design is recognizable and unchanged
