Hi Wes, great film, get that egr done asap! my contractor has a number of 30 series deere's, had two engine's fail, cost him over £20000 to repair them. Has now bypassed the egr and remapped the engine management on all of the 30's, now got more power and better fuel consumption. keep up the good work.
That tractor is very nice piece of equipment no doubt about it ! I don't want to disappoint you that most of the parts of this tractor made in Europe. Deere has an engine plant in France where all the 6068 engines are built . And as far as I know the IVT transmission is made by ZF in Germany. The successor of this model is a 6190R which is a fully European JD tractor just like the processor of it the 7530.
Tractors have certainly changed a lot since I used to ride along on them as a lad. There were no cabs, passengers sat on the fender and climate control was an umbrella. We seem top have similar ideas about how to service a newly purchased used vehicle. Change the fluids and filters, and for cars and trucks I would also change the belt(s) and hoses. When you pointed out the air filters I knew they wouldn't be cheap, but wow! I hope that they last a decent amount of time.
They are much more efficient at doing work that is for sure. Although, where as the farmall you grew up on could still be working to this day, these new generations of tractors will all be in the junk yard in 30 years.
I wish I had one of those buddy seats when I was growing up on a good old john deere 2640 and 2630 and a Massey Ferguson 35 I had to stand on those and that made for a long day but I loved every minute of it and i still love every minute of it
That's a clean tractor Wes. It was well minded by the previous owner or owners. They have a brilliant pick up hitch which was designed and made here in Ireland. Dromone made them for John Deere for years but nw I think they make them themselves. Try out the lift arms before u change them there are supper handy and never really fail or give trouble. U should get it turned up. That engine is fit for 220hp no problem. People run them here at 230hp and say they are a complete power house! U can also add more lights on the rear wings the wiring is all there they just need to be connected. And another flasher(beacon) on the opposite side would really suit it! Just run a wire over from the one that's on it. But u have to program the ecu to let it know there's a second flasher cause it will see the power draw as excessive and turn it off after a short time assuming there's a wiring fault! Wish u luck wit your new 30 series's!
Having a gas peddle on a tractor is a awesome feature. I have a old 4010 with a loader and I use the peddle almost 100% of the time especially when doing loader work.
I grew up on a large farm in Illinois and your videos bring back many memories. Keep up the good work. Theresa is doing a wonderful job of shooting the videos. The only problem is I am allergic to Green but when I think Red the allergy goes away. Thanks for your RUclips video efforts.
Nice tractor, constructed and built in Mannheim, Germany. I have one too. I'm not a farmer, but I like to have a tractor. I'm a lawyer. I like your videos!
John Deere is the largest tractor manufacturer in Germany (with destinations all over the world for the machines manufactured in Mannheim, Zweibrücken, Bruchsal - you name it!). And market leader in terms of road certified/licensed tractors for the full HP range; now for 17 years in a row!). Just keep in mind a small detail whilst dwelling on German/US build or originated items: John Deere from USA took over Heinrich Lanz aka "The Bulldog" (The german equivalent to John Deere´s Jonny Poppers") in the late 50ies.
hi wes. sorry to be a bit of a party pooper, but that ivt gear box isn't really supposed to be thrown in and out of forward and reverse on the move like that. it will do it but if you plug a diagnostics machine into it, there will be an error code that says something like '' reverse selected while moving forwards''. its always better to stop and change direction. better for the box that way. sorry to sound snotty just thinking whats best for the box
onelonleyfarmer fair enough. it's just when we do services at work we get a code come up on those machines. what are your plans for the hitch? will you leave it with the simple tongue and pin or do you plan to use a hook like we do here in the UK?
Only thing I didn't care for on the 30 series was the variable speed fan drive on the engine. The early ones ran the fan drive off of engine oil, they later updated it to run off trans fluid which makes more sense. The Egr isn't to bad, compared to a 6170r with all that emissions crap, it's hard to beat the 20 series.
almost everything you've pointed out that's outside the tractor has been standard on the European John Deeres since 10 series.. that's not even a full lighting package. two extra lamps below indicators plough lights on the mud guards are also available. and the new 6R lighting package is miles ahead of that 30 series.. American spec tractors must be fair crude if your amazed by all the little things
Nice to see your enjoying your new tractors they certainly are lovely machines. Maybe its time for us to think about a green machine . Great video as normal
I probably wouldn't get much done the first day BUT I would've used every control in that tractor. Sweet tractor; make sure you have a good backup tractor for maintenance days
omg wes... this tractor just gave me a woody... damn it man that is sweet... and that small seat is great for a small woman or child... will make an awesome loader tractor but i am worried about your dads poor knees up the steep steps
We have a 7330 with same screens in front of radiator. Using it in the hayfield is a pain. Will plug up every couple hours in really dusty conditions. Best fix? Throw them away and blow radiator out whenever needed like other tractors. They are ok tractors but still has a lot to prove to be as reliable as our 7810.
the return on the backend is used when your using constant pumping on one of your spool valves. Dumping the oil through the return keeps the oil cool and keeps it from frothing up
I love that button for your power take off Especially there accent with a framer or a farm hand They need to make the mandatory in all the usa tractor.Look like you have a Cadillac for tractors.
Super, this video delivered the most interesting comments I ever seen, can't stop reading, for interesting sake, body parts of the Airbus A400 is made here in South Africa and shipped to France, the aft section of the cockpit and wings sections for example.
Nice machine! That's a tractor like you said take care of, maintenance and so on... You ever have transmission problems down the road trade that one in...
not the best way to fit a plow on the front hydraulics. hit something and it will be expensive hehe. they do make push frames designed to carry plows :)
I remember the first time I ran a 9560R JD for the neighbor down the road. I started it up cold and went to put it into gear and 15 warning and failure messages popped up on the screen. Man was I scared I had messed up the transmission. Luckily it was just as you said, the transmission doesn't run until it reaches a specific temperature
My buddy has a 7430 premium with duals and he pulls a 25 ft 630 disc with it until he got his 8235r. I must say i love running his 7430 it has the power bulge also.
Yes it is a nice tractor but we have had tractors like that in EU for 10 - 15 year, just some things i don't get in the US i guess. nice videos you make, i like watching:-)
I like that transmission setup looks like They Carried the technology over from construction equipment the smaller dozers and rubber tire backhoes had similar version First
You sound like you have never seen something like that left hand reverser but over here in the Netherlands that is standard and I do that al the time, forward straight to reverse and back. We have an autopower 6920S and it is indeed a very nice thing
Great video! If I can make a suggestion, get a camera gimbal. You move very enthusiastically and a gimbal would probably double the viewability of you videos. Plus you wouldnt have to worry about keeping it steady yourself :)
ausfarmer89 it's the same thing as an American style, I believe he is going to put the normal arms on then a American quick hitch because the arms are a stronger style.
Good looking tractor I have a question for you on my 1010 John Deere when I have The clutch up in neutral it is making noise do you think it is the throw out bearing is there a way to greasy it
You want to make sure you take care of the engine. I know from our 30's series they start very rough and take some time to heat up. The AutoPowr transmission is very nice compared to the AutoQuad Plus which is semi-automatic because it has the automatic ranges but manual gear changing. You might even be able to get a front loader which has a joystick with a shuttle control on it which some, at least in the UK, have meaning everything would be on one hand other than steering.
You're making me want a tractor again
How Farms Work buy the same tractor 7530 is a realy good and strong traktor in holland we pull a 9 row ploug true the clay
How Farms Work well why don't you buy one of Wes tractor he selling
we use too use it for a 23 m3 3 axe manure tank joskin with injector,it was al good work out for it,nevertheless it did the job
Same here lol
How Farms Work making me want it and i don't even live on a farm anymore!

Thanks for the walk around. That IVT is something else!
I wish I had one of those buddy seats when I was growing up on a good old john deere 2640 and 2630 and a Massey Ferguson 35 I had to stand on those and that made for a long day but I loved every minute of it and i still love every minute of it

Very nice Wes, you talked us through the dashboard from the 7530, right Tim we love JD 🚜🚜 and Teresa 🌹🌹🌹💋💋💋💋💋💖💖💖💖💖💖
I grew up on a large farm in Illinois and your videos bring back many memories. Keep up the good work. Theresa is doing a wonderful job of shooting the videos. The only problem is I am allergic to Green but when I think Red the allergy goes away.
Thanks for your RUclips video efforts.
When changing the oil filter put a plastic bag around it when taking if off oil goes in the bag , same thing I do one my Ram diesel pickup
PD Builder great idea ! Use a gallon size zip-lock ?
a zip lock is what I use but other bags will work as long as they don't have a hole in them
PD Builder i cut the top out of a milk jug and leave the handle... i am a verry clumsy person
maximus Yeah most people use a bucket but he means if a bucket won't fit.
yup bucket well not work on my pickup , iam lucky to snake a wrench and my hand in
very cool and thanks for sharing, can't wait to see these 2 new tractors in action. live your videos and family!
I am excited to see these babies workin this spring. Nice tractors !!!!
Electronics on vehicles don;t often impress me. Especially on cars, but this, this is impressive.
Is very good I absolutely love John Deere and love your tractors What machines love it
Nice tractor, constructed and built in Mannheim, Germany. I have one too. I'm not a farmer, but I like to have a tractor. I'm a lawyer. I like your videos!
Those IVTs are definitely the way to go! That'll be awesome for loading hay!

ed theriper no such code on it. And I had a demo of these tractors years ago and the dealer did that and said it was made for loader work
onelonleyfarmer fair enough. it's just when we do services at work we get a code come up on those machines. what are your plans for the hitch? will you leave it with the simple tongue and pin or do you plan to use a hook like we do here in the UK?
when you are not so fast is it okay, no problem like you did in the video!
on this tractor i will leave the hitch on it. the 8530 i will be converting to American Style hitch.
the demo i had the dude went from 30 mph to full reverse
thanks for sharing very nice set of tractors you got
a lot of planning and thought went into this tractor, she's a keeper👍
damn i love the layout of the new JD tractors ,it's amazing how you can customize what it does
I work at a Deere dealership in Ohio and I can tell you 90% of the parts we get are made in Mexico and China.
dont tell wes )))))))))))))))))
omaxx12 Yep! John Deere is a sell out!
Very good and informative video thumbs up for sure
Only thing I didn't care for on the 30 series was the variable speed fan drive on the engine. That is one awesome tractor...I have always been a big fan of John Deere equipment...I'm sure it will serve you well.
kid with a new German assembled toy. cool
Why arent you using your sons account to troll?
almost everything you've pointed out that's outside the tractor has been standard on the European John Deeres since 10 series.. that's not even a full lighting package. two extra lamps below indicators plough lights on the mud guards are also available. and the new 6R lighting package is miles ahead of that 30 series.. Nebraska Farmer 😧
You talking about half on the seat and half on the fender reminds me of riding with my grandpa on a John Deere 4840
You can also start the pto from the fender pto buttons too. Just have to set it in the tractor 1st.
Crazy what these new tractors can do.
the return on the backend is used when your using constant pumping on one of your spool valves. Dumping the oil through the return keeps the oil cool and keeps it from frothing up
Sweet ride . Very intuitive controls .
Good tractors. We have a 7320 premium with a loader.
open support for president trump
pleased to see someone in america is no coward
Interesting tractor which seems well equipped with most facilities you could wish for. Lets hope it proves to be reliable as resonably possible
love the new tractor there really nice you deserve them for the hard work you do
I love that button for your power take off Especially there accent with a framer or a farm hand They need to make the mandatory in all the usa tractor.Look like you have a Cadillac for tractors.

Wes enjoying his new toy , 😜
Wes you should get a nice snow plow for the front of that tractor it would be awesome pushing snow in that beast
not the best way to fit a plow on the front hydraulics. hit something and it will be expensive hehe. they do make push frames designed to carry plows :)
Love your new tractors sure hope when they get older that all that electronic gizmo's don't become a pain in the ass
Thanks for showing how the gearbox works and haw you set the speed, I always wondered how they worked...
nice Deere Wes keep up the good job
lol you still got snow on the ground here in Nebraska it was 50 degrees out toady and it was muddy
"Ooooo some pretty lights" 😂😂
Did you take the egr valve off yet and how bout a loader for it too take sum of the stress off the 7410 and skidsteer
All experiences ive had with 30 series tractors have been great way better than 20 series in my oponion, im sure they will serve you well
The founder of Chevrolet, Louis Chevrolet..was from Switzerland
Just found this vid. Am wondering how much smaller it the cab on the 7530 compares to the 8120. I am looking at euro 7530 for mowing hay
the pto button on the mudguard can turn the pto on aswell there should be a button in the cab to activate it
man that's one sharp tractor
You will make it a loader tractor ? What do they use to link the axles to the tractor body ?
very well explained... thanks Wes....
very nice Vid dude!greets from germany, over here this machine is a legend. We own one too, such a sweet machine!
Love the ivt we have 2 tractors with it for feeding and it really works great! good luck with them!!
nice video! it's almost as good as a vario transmission ;)
Left hand reversers have been in North America on John Deere's for around 20 years now. Ivt and front suspension for 15 years.
Can you still use the independent brakes or does the ivt transmission not allow that ?
EGR valves can be a real bastard if a problem
nice 7530 i love it
I like that transmission setup looks like They Carried the technology over from construction equipment the smaller dozers and rubber tire backhoes had similar version First

You bought a hi-spec tractor that is autotrac and isobutane ready. Plan to invest in receiver and display ?
WHAT!!! sorry but your insane getting rid of the quick hitch linkage they are absolutely brilliant. Try it before you get rid of them.
ausfarmer89 it's the same thing as an American style, I believe he is going to put the normal arms on then a American quick hitch because the arms are a stronger style.
Sweet tractor that.
Thanks for the review, good job!
I was actually surprised that Wes didn't come home with a new JCB FastTrack.
Nice Tractor!
nice to see you updating your equipment, any thoughts about a bigger bale collector \ wagon.
nice john deere finally coming up to date
Good looking tractor I have a question for you on my 1010 John Deere when I have The clutch up in neutral it is making noise do you think it is the throw out bearing is there a way to greasy it
very nice! you ever thought about doing a past to present vid with all that green iron?
are you going to take the plates off and please do a review on the 4320
Nice tractor Wes.
Nice video fella, what loader you looking to get john Deere or another make?
wow man that tractor is truly amazing one hell of a tractor that's for sure hope you find your gearbox man
hi wes the frond hitch is a zuidberg made in the netherlands i think it's not easy to find a pto in america for it
new camera ?
That is a really nice tractor.
You should do that transmission demo with an outside view so we can see it from outside
Great vid 👍this is one of my favourite tractors
My 6930 premium has the transmission works like a dream
WOW! That thing is awesome!!!
hey from finland. u should try valtra. we made them in here Finland. yours videos are good's.

that's one nice tractor wes
Great reviews thank you
That's is so fantastic.
A bit of a hunch but, sell the 7410 and put the loader on the 7530?
What does the button(?) next to the rear PTO on/off switch on the armrest?
