Oasis is the band that everyone associates with songs like "Wonderwall" and "Champagne Super Nova," but this band was so much more than the few commercial hits they had. I like to think that Oasis in England's American equivalent to Nirvana. Meaning, a band that had some commercial success but without question, was still completely and utterly a epic underground band. Oasis had so many great songs outside of their commercial successes. In fact, my personal Oasis playlist doesn't see a commercial song until I am at least 12 songs deep! Which is funny because every time I drive with someone I always get asked, "Who's this?" And I'm like, "It's fucking Oasis, man!" I crank out the tunes that people rarely had exposure to. Songs like this one right here. "Bonehead's Bank Holiday" is great song and right up there as one of their best songs. It's a shame that Liam and Noel are in the place they are today. Liam and Bonehead got together last year and I was hoping that Noel would join them at some point, but he didn't. I still love those guys, but I thought, or at least hoped, that getting older would change their hearts a bit. Then again, I haven't spoken to my brothers in many years, so I do get it. And, the worst part is that these reunion rumors are always circulating, but nothing ever happens! I'm nearly 60 years old and hopefully I will be able to see these guys together again before I die. One of the greatest bands to ever be!
This song is so funny and cute! I guess it's especially cool to sing it in a company when everyone is off their faces! This is how they recorded the song, as far as I know. I also love the way Bonehead chats at the very end, kinda talking thru the lyrics.
@@paumoreno9998 in short (and off the top of my head, people are welcome to correct/add details) Bonehead was supposed to sing but his first few attempts were pretty bad due to him being nervous. So Liam, being the problem solver he is, thought the best solution was taking him and the rest of the band out to drink. When they came back though everyone, especially Bonehead, was way too wasted to do anything, let alone sing. And as they had a deadline to meet that was the moment Noel jumped in and sang the whole thing.

Oasis best years

they were lol
Noel should play this song with Damon Albarn now that they're buddies.
Agree! This song is like a cross between Blur's 'Country House' and 'Charmless Man", with those lalala's.
🤦🏻♂️
Sounds a lot like the Beatles
He lives in a house, a very big house in the country
definitely has that Blur vibe particularly when they say "in me big house" wonder if it was a jab at them
The time when everything Noel touched turned into gold
well this is a Noel's whole roast line
This is my favourite Blur song from their Britpop era.
🤔
My favorite oasis song is "Song 2"

Just discover song.Biblical 🤣.
In style of Monty Python.
It’s the only song on the album that isn’t popular
True but i love the song
Cause it was vinyl only
Sounds like it should be a libertines song.
Noely G the rip off artist actually wrote an original classic song
It does sound a little like David Bellamy's Brontosaurus Will You Wait for Me though...
