@8:35, Satan for Esu was a transliteration error committed by the translators/writers of the Yoruba Bible. They are quite different from one another. If Esu was a Yoruba word for Satan (which is not though), then what is the English word for Orunmila or Obatala? So that was a pure error and nothing else. I think in the modern Yoruba bible, we have now, the correct transliterations are now used. As we all say in science, knowledge is progressive. Same thing exists in Greek to English rendition of the same Bible, which other translations are now correcting. So I agree with you on that.
I understand that Satan is not Esu. Likewise, Olodumare is not Allah. However, Ajayi Crowther didn't not intentionally misinterpret the Bible. Let's be thoughtful my Brother.
@@Majority33 So why didn't he give other Irúnmolès names as he gave Èṣù(Satan)? This is a well planned interpretation because it was not only Esu that was existing as at the time he made the translation.
