I got such error during conversion from vector to raster:
The following layers were not correctly generated.
    Any help?

Did you correctly project the layer?

      1. try "fix geometries"- type it in search bar,
      2. give the horizontal and vertical resolution values (dont keep zero)

Had the same problem. I first projected the polygon shape (but nothing happened). Then, inside "Advanced Parameters" I changed "Output Data type" to "Int16" and it solved the blank raster problem.
In my case the cell values range from 1 to 5, so you'll need to try different Data types if your values are smaller than 0 (or are decimal).
      Hope this helps a bit.

how did you choose number of column and row?

How can you extract from a 2D raster automatically a contour like ring_road layer??

    • @JustLearnCivil

The layer ring_road is already existing vector layer. If you wish to generate contour, you need to go to geoprocessing menu and there you will find extraction with two options - clip and contour. Select contour, the DEM (Raster, contour of which is to be found). And then you will get Contour from Raster.
