i loved this vlog ! i obviously like the face to face (or "in the moment") vlogging/talking but i mostly really enjoyed the "storytelling" parts, it was really nice to listen to and very poetic ! also this video is making me want to go back to nyc so so bad !! i'm so happy for you to experience that and also so happy that you're sharing these moments with us :)

so glad u made it to nyc!! haven't finished the video yet, but with regard to being overstimulating, i would say the city definitely can be but it's less so in residential/less touristy areas! i live on the upper west side and while my neighborhood certainly still has more going on than less dense cities, it's mainly families and older people and it's relatively peaceful. i love my green market sundays, just ambling through roosevelt park by the natural history museum! and of course you also get used to things being more noisy growing up here/living here

yesss nyc tap water is good too!! but I feel like dutch tap water is almost as good as drinking from a bottle. we are very lucky haha
NYC has some of the best water too!! used to live in Amsterdam for the past year but now I moved back to San Diego

I got back from NYC in May. I've been to NYC 7 or 8 time and this time I walked from the Battery/Bowling Green to Pier 59 to the Empire State Building and back to the 30th St. I basically walked for 3 days non stop.
hahaha it's a lot!! but honestly my favorite way to explore a city

omg terms of endearment and jajaja!! jajaja is the best, my mum and i always go there and she loves it even though she's not at all vegan! we always have to get the nachos and the churros, so so good! and that almond croissant from terms of endearment...I get why u needed a recovery period lol

Ahhh lovely time💕 what an experience! Did you use your Rabia’s guide? I understand the overstimulation completely! I lived in Belgrade for 10 years and omg that city is just crazy, so loud and crowded, it’s nice to visit but it’s also nice to come back to a quiet place

yes I am!! I'm half way now and i can't really stop reading it, but I really love kazuro Ishiguro's writing style. I find it a bit slow but I'm actually enjoying it so far :)
@@iriswellen I adored "Never let me go", so I was really excited for this one. I also got the feeling that it's a bit too slow and sometimes I wondered why Klara, being a super complex AI, doesn't know or understand basic actions. But it's nevertheless a good book that causes one to reflect, and raises relevant questions. :)

The comfort in that economic state support in Europe does not exist in America. Especially the wild capitalism in NYC, the Americans thinking of everything in terms of money, very tight long working order, which is not even given lunch time. Most Americans don't know about the world, some don't have passports, they don't travel the world. There are those who do not even use their annual leave for a maximum of 20 days, earning fast money and working long hours and finishing that money in 2 hours at the rooftop in NYC. What do you think about the differences between europe and america, especially about the pressure to make money in the economy? And does it bother you that he doesn't have a friendly relationship with NYC people?
