About the Nihil. In space combat they have a great advantage, since they can appear and disappear out of nowhere. But on a land battle, how efective are they? Against common soldiers or Jedi? What equipments, weapons, armor and strategies do they use? One single (but well trained) Nihil is capable of defeating a Jedi (like the mandalorians or magna/royal guards could do)? Or do they need to rely on numbers and traps to take down a jedi?
So far there has only been a space battle against the Nihal. I have a feeling that the Nihal has to partner with the Drengir, a plat species who are strong with the dark side in order to be able to take on the Jedi
@@vos7619 Personally for me it comes down to a few factors. 1) I hate whips in general because they're strongly associated with slavery and torture. 2) I'm not a fan of gimmick weapons. I like characters that are good because they're actually skilled, not because they rely on flashy novelties. 3) While I can appreciate some variety, I generally prefer regular sword/lightsabre duels. That being said I can put up with Vernestra's weapon, in part because it can switch between being a light whip and a regular lightsabre. Plus I like Vernestra.
Yeah because ankin was never showed emotions right nether did obi wan or Asoka if you want to criticise it fine but at least criticise it for a good reason
@@Matli1804 the point is pay attention I think you might be a little slow the point is with their writing they already destroyed the first rule of the Jedi Order after that we can go how they destroyed the lure of the hyperspace The Lure of lightsabers I can go on
Keep in mind that these are teens and teens tend to be very emotional. Ahsoka was kinda of the same but she learned to control it further on. I hope its the same for these jedi.

Thanks for the summary. I read the YA and adult books, but I prefer to skip middle grade. So this is very helpful.
Thank you guys for doing this!
Great book discussion James and Kyle.
Thank you for this summary! :-)
No Problem! Hopefully it's a good resource! -james
Thanks a lot for the summary! I read Light Of The Jedi and was thinking about what happened in the other book. Great job!

Thanks, James! Thanks, Kyle! 💫
Does Vernestra actually have a light whip like the ones used by Gythany from the Darth Bane trilogy and Lumyia from the NJO series
Yes! I saw a lot of people hate that they brought it back to canon (don't know why since it's a unique concept) but I love it.
@@vos7619 I didn’t know anyone hated it. I personally think it’s really cool
@@dimond360_ a lot of people are hating the high republic even though the books are pretty good
