Hi 👋 I’m Sophia, and I really love your podcast-Connection Not Perfection! I’m wondering about the use of “very” for emphasis. I heard it can be used to mean something like “extreme” or “absolute,” especially when emphasizing something. For example: This is the very book I was looking for. Or, at the very end of the road, you’ll find the old house. Could you explain more about this usage or share additional examples? Thanks so much!
Hi, I'd like to say that we in persian have this expression to remind each other to take care of our personal and social behaviour. That is , there is at least one curved cucumber in the box. As you mentioned we apply it as a sarcasm to criticize the wrong doer. Be great❤
Hi your my favorite podcast ever i have been listening for 5 years i heard the phrase no pain no gain and didn't know what it meant could you talk about it?
Great suggestion! We'll make sure to make an episode in the future to answer your question. Please take a minute to leave us a review. lovethepodcast.com/XVyHqv
This is the song ruclips.net/video/aBA4ABr4WcI/видео.html It became famous here in Brazil through the movie Shrek, then after I grew up it became a meme, so people kinda use it in an offensive way of self-deprecation or to deprecate other people, you know, when they would realize some mess they did, so then the meme in facebook, etc.
