This prompted me to test my mouse to see if prediction was enabled and, sure enough, it was. Glad to be able to get rid of it - thanks.
I dislike Steelseries for reasons I won't post here, but thanks for showing people this, Tltan. It's nice information and helped me get a great mouse.
Kimchom (SS rep who posts on overclock . net) confirmed that both the Xai and the Sensei have this positive acceleration. As to whether Avago changed anything before the Sensei RAW was developed, I don't know.
FPS buyers beware: the Avago ADNS-9500 sensor that it uses has an innate ~5% positive acceleration. You will notice this straight away if you're accustomed to playing without acceleration - especially if you're on a cloth mousepad. It's not something that's impossible to get used to, but it was enough for me to return the product. It's a great mouse other than this drawback, though.
I use 400 dpi @ 4.25 sensitivity with a dpi toggle to bump it up to 800dpi for times I might find myself in a tank :o. I found the lower the sens the better for classes like sentinel.
For DMB I prefer still a low sensitivity but at the same time you want enough to be able to lead the target properly.
Depends on what surface I am pretty sure.
Great video Titan, what do you use in game sens for tribes, and will deviating from default game sensi interfere with 1-1 mouse input?
Im still sort of trying to dial in my tribes sens - so far im running lower for DB and Senti and fairly high for PTH.

Assuming that's true, would it not be likely that the makers of this mouse knew that and applied correction in the firmware using that fancy arm processor?

The software that come with mine (wireless Sensai) yesterday (early March 2015) is nothing like yours. No preset profiles. Nothing. NO INSTRUCTIONS NOTHING. No Tabs (`Buttons ~ Statistics ~ to News`). No "Button Assignments" & no freakin "Button Assignments" FFS (Ok that is a bit of Button assigning via guesswork as its completely different to your software [and doesn`t work In-game mostly]). All I can do is alter the SENSITIVITY and Change ACTIONS in Configuration 1 (etc). Thats all that there is: AND there is NO "Left-handed" mode.
What software do you have? Mine is the latest. And the latest firmware. March 2015.
