A "quick" tutorial / guide in Elite Dangerous Odyssey on how not to get scanned by security guards while doing on-foot covert missions. This is so far best method and always works fine for me.

I find it really infuriating on those low gravity settlements (like 0.2g and less) that when I jump right after getting the scan intent warning I'm not even able to comply, because I'm still mid-air when they already start shooting.

ah ah IKR .. happened to me couple times too, but this is why I use VoiceAttack and have "kill game" command. I set it on ALT+F4 with no bypass, so it kills the game process. I can't be bothered with such game breaking bugs, it's easier to kill the game and restart. if you do it fast enough, you won't get the fine or anything.

@@SethiozProject a handy tip, thanks. I use process kill sometimes (especially when bugs get me in trouble), but other times I get to live with my own mistakes. When it's a covert heist mission, it's my bad that they even saw me. But when it's a plain threat 0 toilet paper delivery and I get blasted only because I was jumping around in a hurry, that shit ain't right.
