I just bought an 809 for my x5 and gl450. X5 no issues. On the MB, I can’t see the modules for the soft close doors but I can see the door lock and window switches.
I'm a "Foxwell believer" lol. I've been using the NT630 for years and never had any issues. Pretty impressive for a simple scanner and this has many more features than mine, after seeing this video I'll surely consider upgrading to this one. Thanks
Hi Jerry Very cool scanner. I have been looking for one and not one will do my 2021 silverado. So far most only have data for vehicles well out of warranty by many years. I will check this one and see if it covers up to 2021 model years , the price is right . Take care 👍
Damn, 2021? That's a new ride. I've never owned something new enough to have a warranty, but at that age, can't you just throw it back in the dealers face 😂
any clue if it will do Porsche? they seem to have thier own thing goin on to the extent i ended up buying a Durametric system pro version.... ive had scanner list Porsche but when i plug one in it really does nothing besides retrieve codes an clear some codes
They are all subscription base, however they always come with a year of free updates. Once the subscription expires the scanner still works and you don’t lose anything
@@BackCountryWrenching - Gotcha. I worry that some of these companies will charge you to get into your own scanner if you let the subscription lapse. Thanks.
@@ThatGuysChannel4Whatever I totally understand the Autel i got a few years ago was 1800 and the software has been expired for 2 years and the cost to update to new software is over 500 which I can't justify. I think the software on this is a lot cheaper
DO NOT BUY THIS. The Foxwell 809TS has serious issues. They have serious battery and charging issues. Total junk. These things have battery issues. Stopped charging after a week of owning it and all the do is say talk to the retailer. Horrible company and service.

I've been using a foxwell nt301 for a few years with zero issue. I would definitely give this one a try 👍
This would be a huge upgrade to that for sure

How much is the subscription when the time is up ?
@@rickymartin3678 $140 a year for 1 year or $240 for two years
Looks pretty good for the money 👍
Seems to work good so far
That sure does look like a good one Jerry..👍👍💪
does it have air suspension callibration function?
Very good review, thank you...!!!
Does it have a misfire counter for each cylinder and can it read wheel speed sensor voltage?
Can this do a cam shaft re-learn on a jeep?

2021 I hope you wouldn’t need a scanner for something that new
@@BackCountryWrenching wanna bet?

Maybe I overlooked it but does it have key programming?
So can it actually do a DPF regen on VW you seemed to skip that bit. l have a Golf 2.0 TDI would like to know has anyone done it with this tool?
How does it compare to the autel mp 808? The 808 is amazing!!! 🇨🇦
Autel is top notch hard to compare to them
I hate Autels
Its better like The otofix lite D1?
The otofix is better
Can you do a forced regen on a 2015 ram eco diesel ?
Yes it can
will it re calibrate your Jeep for change of tire size?
It can for very limited tire sizes, none of which would work for me
Will this do a crank relearn? I have a 08 Envoy might be worth it to buy this rather than pay to have this done.
Yes, it can do a crank relearn.
FOXWELL NT809 can support your 08 Envoy to do a crank relearn.
Hello can we do clutch balancing
You are best to contact the company on that as only certain features are allow on vehicles
Hello does this scan tool still works? Please be honest thanks
No idea as I gave it away
Does it have the feature to check the fuel pump
Yes, it has.
Looks legit!
is it good for small shop ?
I think it would be ok for that
I guess my question is: Is it subscription based? Price is right, but if they feel the need to offset the price by charging a yearly subscription....

The sub is like $160 per year too, so cheaper than most scanners.
@@djwilson48625 good to know, thank you.
Can it do injector compensation codes? great video
Yes, it can.
Don't buy this tool if you're in Australia. Support is poor and there's a potential for missing models
Otofix its cheaper 40-50£
And I like the otofix better

for the half the price, there are much better scanners these days with 28 resets and full system diag. this scanner is a total ripoff .
What do u recommand then
What about the bi-directional feature. Is that included? Or are you just posting nonsense?🤷♂️
name some?!
more junk amazon stuff you get for free and peddle.
😂🤣😂🤣 don’t be hating cause nobody wants to send you products to test out
