I have been given a lucky bamboo arrangement that's in an opaque clay holder, with small white stones and no soil. Should I transplant it to a clear container and include the stones, but submerge the roots in water? As it is now, I can't tell if there's water covering the roots. Thank you for your help! From doing some research, it seems like a clear container is the best for bamboo. I was going to transfer mine to a clay pot but decided not to after reading more about bamboo.

Great video! I have just one plant that I have had for over a year growing in soil and and they are in a spiral. But one of the stalks turned yellow and I see small brown spots on a couple of leaves. Would you recommend transplanting into water like you did? Is that the best environment for them?
Will they last long? or you need to replant / remake/ change soil & water again after a month? Will it not gather moss after 1 week? I agree that it is extremely beautiful for display & for the eyes right after you've done fixing them the way you want them to be, but i doubt after a month. The plants become yellowish even how you care them. how do you solve this problem? thank you for sharing.
The water evaporates and I just top it off every few days. I only use distilled water, NEVER tap. If you have chemicals in your water it can cause the leaves to yellow but proper water that's changed does not cause the leaves to yellow; yellow is a sign that something is wrong. All of mine are happy and growing 🤗
