i was there that night and i can tell you it was one of the greatest UCL games ever, i’ve been to Celtic Park many times but never was it like this. Messi was insane and honestly Fraser Forster was the best keeper in the world that night
I love Celtics fc.... when I watched this match I was tensed very tensed and when my countryman Wanyama scored the first goal I was jumping like an insane man...then when the supersub Watt scored the second goal i was in tears ..i give credit to Foster he was suberb in goal....it was a great night and a win that I will never forget.

As a Celtic fan its incredibly hard to explain how big a game in our history this was for us. arguably the best club side ever and we beat them. what made it even sweeter for me and my family is that we were on holiday in spain, in amongst a bunch of spaniards while we where the only celtic fans there and WE beat them.

Exactly. On the night, Celtic were not just representing themselves but also Scotland and Scottish football. Not a Celtic fan myself but to watch that game and see a Scottish club do that to what many consider, 1 of the greatest Barca teams in history does leave a lump in the throat. Even the respect from the fans for each other after the game was beautiful to see. If ever there was the need for a football advert, this game would be it.

For the young soccer fans who won't really have the context of this clash, here's a summary: Barcelona were the reigning Uefa Champs league champions heading into this match. The best word to describe them would be INVINCIBLE. They had simply one of the greatest teams to have graced the earth, they Messi who was performing like an alien mixed with machine, he was literally unstoppable. Their midfield was made up of two of the greatest Professors/masters/doctors of football vision (Iniesta and Xavi)... To beat Barcelona at the time Celtic did was like moving a mountain... You can even tell by the commentator how huge this is... If you're into sports betting you would have put your life savings into this match and said Barca were gona win, that's how fukking good they.
