    I heard when Anand was still a boy, he kept winning chess puzzles by the newspaper until they requested him not to participate any more.

    vishy is such a class act, win or loss he's always willing to chew the fat with an opponent about key moments in the match.
    i love naka as well but he's a salt daddy after lots of losses

    Anand, in my opinion, is the greatest sportsperson to have emerged from India. Field hockey legend Dhyan Chand comes a close second, followed by Milkha Singh (Athletics), Ramanathan Krishnan (Tennis) and Sachin Tendulkar (Cricket)

    I dont know why, but I love the little recap chess players do after a game, especially when you can see that they’ve let down their competitive side and just enjoy the beauty of the game.

    Only Anand and Nakamura can declare a draw with so much on the board. It's like they see things pretty ahead how the match is gonna turn up

    Chess players always whisper to each other after the game, sometimes just reading each others lips. This way they won't disturb other players playing nearby.

    4:54 Qc1 is the best move for white yes there is some fork if the king come to support the h6 pawn B× h6 B×h6 and knight fork and check the king moves to h8 Q×h6 and this is winning for white

      At the end of these they put both kings in the center. If white wins they put them on white squares so e4 d5 if black wins then its black squares d4 e5. If the game is drawn then kings stand on their own color like at the end of this video

      Its an easy answer. Do u just see chess to watch the clock ticking .? The position was hopeless ....dead draw .....so Nakamura offered a draw .....as simple as that .and also from king position one can tell
