I can confidently say that this EDD is one of the hardest I've seen in a while. Stage 2 had everybody struggling this week. So, I decided to use an unconventional build/playstyle to make this run interesting.
well done this week, especially on that brutal stage 2. why do you rarely ever destroy brood nexus? i see your videos and it seems that very often you decide to not destroy them and im curious as to why
Stage 2 was horrifying this week. And about the brood nexus... with this build, I didn't want to waste any ammo dealing with em. I couldn't really kill them instantly without wasting impact axes. In some situations, it's necessary. In others, I just see it as a waste of time. It's situational for me. They don't spawn enough swarmers to be considered a lethal threat to me.
I did. In particular situations. Almost every enemy that got tempshocked got hit with the gamma DOT right after. Also, it's kinda nice tagging a spitter and then moving on knowing it's gonna die. It's free chip damage. You can also use barbed drills combined with the gamma on enemies to finish em off. I only used it for the fun factor. I can't say it's necessarily a "good" pick. But it's definitely fun. I guess you could use my video to decide for yourself. I think it's definitely viable for speedplay if that counts for anything.
@@phat-Rat I appreciate it man! I'm a huge fan of chip dmg- I usually run Sticky Flames or Neurotoxin A/C lol But I started looking into Blistering Necrosis, and suddenly questioned if the burst dmg could be more useful. What's your take on the two OCs?

@@phat-Rat thanks for the insight!!
I didn't know you could gtfo early by stuffing yourselves into the molly compartment.
How did you know where you were going constantly?
Deathless speed runs for me usually take 2-3 attempts. But I also run it beforehand to know where the objectives are.
the faster mining you're doing is just letting go of right click in the exact rigt moment?
Yep that's it!
Did you find the rad procs to be of value?
I did. In particular situations.

is your grenades set to scroll? how do you chuck em so fast?
I hit g+left alt really fast. I've practiced it a TON.
lol there's a guy with your name in the DRG discord
Is there someone other than me with the same name in the discord?
@@phat-Rat no its you only
