Biggest troll spot for me was in Seegson synthetics, the upper level where the alien drags the guy off observation platform in that scripted scene. Go to the top platform and throw down something to get him to enter the lower level then shoot at him from the platform, once he starts to run to the vent go down the ladder and shoot up at him from the lower level, when he runs for the vent to get back to the lower level go back up the ladder and repeat for hours of trolling fun.
One time I spent a good hour or two in this game just testing things and found out the following: If you place a Molotov or Pipe Bomb directly under a vent and the Alien drops down directly onto it, it'll more likely run for the next nearest vent, it doesn't usually just jump straight back up. You can blast the ceiling vent with the flamethrower if the Alien is drooling from it, this'll make it run further back into the vent system for a while. A continuous blast or 2-4 quick blasts from the flamethrower make the Alien retreat far quicker than staggered, spaced out blasts. The Shotgun and Bolt Gun both stagger the Alien but won't drive it away. If you throw a smoke bomb, the Alien can be right next to you and not see you. Just don't be directly in front or behind it, and don't bring up the Motion Sensor. Flashbangs don't activate immediately when thrown, if being chased by the Alien, best to throw it at your feet while running away. That way it has time to activate in the Alien's line of sight without effecting you.
@@darkarpatron Some great hints there I didn't know about, especially that one about flaming the Alien while it's drooling above. I usually go around it, but it's cool you can flame it. Cheers!
@@allenniumfalcon Most welcome. :) Shows how good the game really is. Never fear about getting experimental with gameplay elements, some games can really surprise you.
Fun fact, the bolt gun can actually cause the Alien to run away, it happened to me very recently. I had it charged for a long time and shot it directly in the head, not sure which caused it to run away
I had the hardest time processing this at first. lol i thought it was a baby xeno through the window in an earlier stage of development not realizing you were looking down a floor
xenos are still babies as it takes a few hours for them to grow taller i feel like the pre teen ones are warriors and the full teens are praetorian actually scratch that the praetorians are adults
Imagine you're hiding underneath a table on the ship. You know the Alien is nearby, but you don't want to give away your position by checking the scanner, because of its beeping noise. Suddenly, you hear the beast's hissing from the air ducts above the desk. After some rumbling sounds from the duct, it drops to the floor, only a few feet away. It stands tall, and paces back and forth in the room. You want to know if you can make a get away, but you're too scared to look out and see if the Alien is nearby, god forbid it sees you. After almost five minutes of the Alien pacing in the dimly lit room, it determines that its prey must have gotten away. But instead of leaving the area, the Alien does something far more cruel. The Alien proceeds to squat down, barely hovering over the floor and drops an enormous load directly on the metalic floor. You hear every grunt and flatulence coming from the Alien, but you must remain hidden, as your life depends on it. But suddenly, the smell of the Alien's defecation consumes the air and hits you directly in the nostrils. The odor is beyond anything you have ever experienced in your life. The nauseating stench is nearly forcing you to give yourself away to the predator, as death is nearly a preferable outcome when compared to this level of torture. The Alien persistently grunts, and unloads for several minutes. The smell of its bowel movement only growing in its strength and lingers in the air. You try not to vomit, but this grows harder to resist in every lasting second. Finally, you hear the Alien's hissing sigh of relief. It stands once again and makes its way to the desk you are hiding under. You hold your breath in sheer panic, expecting your death to be inevitable. But instead, the Alien lifts its tail and begins rubbing it's backside against the side of the table in an almost gliding motion. You dare not make a sound, but the sheer absurdity and respulsive scenario you have found yourself in is hard to reakon with. You begin sincerely questioning most of your life's choices at this moment. After about half a minute or so, the Alien appears satisfied with its hygienic efforts, and proceeds to make it's way towards the door. It lets out a single hissing sigh, before scratching itself and exiting the room through the automatic door. You wait a few seconds before looking out from under the table, the smell still permeating the air you breathe, and appears to worsen as you get out from under the desk. You try to remain quiet, as the Alien could still be in earshot of your location, and would likely be very angry, should it realize it had an uninvited spectator during its private moment. You check your surroundings cautiously, attempting to stay silent, and then you suddenly wonder where the Alien had left its excrement. But just then, you look down at your feet, and find it sitting directly underneath you.
@someperson9999 Thst sounds terrifying ! To do the unthinkable and drop a xeno dump right before you is the absolute definition of horror. Also I'm guessing xeno flatulence is highly explosive, so turn that flamer off or adios muchachos!
I imagine that the developers had made the Alien to have the capacity to burst into the glass Window as it scales the wall like it runs... Yeah, instant bowel displacement 🤣
