Actually, ignorant non-indigenous peoples could make an effort to actually understand that there are deep meanings in each song, each lyric and note, tone and sound. That the universe is built on wave form - frequency and vibration, and anyone who doesn't understand the richness of indigenous peoples' languages, songs and cultural wisdom, might consider making an effort to learn, as the western ideologies' lifestyles and education systems are failing and diminishing in stature. The fact that our languages and songs don't "mean anything" to you, speaks more about your closed heart, fearful and ignorant mind, and deep rooted insecurity and self doubt, than it does anything else. I feel sorry for you Thomas.

The first sound a baby makes, no one teaches that baby to cry. He is born with that sound, a gift from Creator; it flow naturally, like his emotions flow; rise and fall as his own feelings rise and fall. We honour that gift with our songs. We honour that first gift of song that Creator bestowed upon us."
