how are "pure mental events" measured then? by our act of thinking? if the act of thinking is measured by an EEG then the "pure mental thoughts" are measured by the EEG.... so.... the Mind is just the electrical activity after all...
you might aswell merge the concept of "pure mental thoughts" with "electro-nural activity in the bran"
