The boy that plays Filip is an astounding actor, he sets the tone of the entire film. WOW

Masterpiece! Without a word about it, this short film pictures with perfection and sensitivity, the way how the young boy Filip, starts dealing with diversity, sexuality, prejudice and acceptance.

Beautifully done. Thank you for this. Loved the ending, that Filip went first to his mother's room (for guidance about what to feel?), and then, perhaps realizing he already knew his feelings, to Sebastian's room, and a very simple and powerful act of love and acceptance.
It saddens me, breaks my heart and makes me cry for the long-haired boy who is humiliated and beaten by the two bullies. The poor boy thought they were his friends and they only took him to play with them only to beat him and humiliate him ... In a way he reminded me of me when I was 8 years old. I always suffered humiliation, harassment and beatings from bullies at school, no one helped me, and I did not say anything out of fear and shame. Actually children always keep quiet and hold on. I was not gay, but they said that if I was, they would beat me and force me to say that I was gay. I was just a pretty boy with long hair, green eyes, and a strange accent. He was from another country and all that bothered the class. I was alone, nervous and scared.

Josef is a good actor indeed! This film brings up the question how do we reach our kids who are going through these challenges (Josef bottling up and not knowing how to express probably many powerful emotions). How does a parent understand when the child doesnt even really know?
Also, it raises questions as a parent when asking if they are interested in the opposite sex (it's presumptuous or controlling).
Powerful, even without words. This was a SUPERB, POWERFUL FILM....please a Part 2 & 3.

This film not only has an excellent story, but what really defines it is the way the film has been directed. I confess Swedish filmmaking has got to be amongst the best in the world.

to Rishayan: I think the film indicates that he accepts his brother and trusts him as indicated by his crawling into bed with him to sleep---which I am assuming has been an ongoing experience--nothing has changed for them. Also remember that he heard homophobic comments and he realized, after thinking about it, that he disagreed with that attitude. I love this film. The boy is brilliant and natural and the others, Mom, brother, boyfriend are so natural and loveable.

This is so good! I’m swedish so i understood everything. This film was very cute! I really liked the chill vibe. And that they showed so many important things. I saw many feelings and thoughts in little Filip. The end was also really cute! Sibling love! 🧡😁🦋

It’s a matter of communication between mom and kids, i experienced that too, mom always asking the things that she already see it in her eyes, as we become adult we feel intermediating because of that questions😂😂😂

Great short! Subtle, sparse dialog, but yet clearly communicated to us viewers. Filip heard the word f**got from a distance and even as a young boy his ears perked up immediately and knew it was a pejorative of some kind. Excellent acting and directing.
There was such love between Seb, older brother and Filip the younger brother.
I don't know who plays who in this but I recommend they keep doing it.

i am surprised at how may got snarky at Mom for asking if he was drawing! It is just a way for her to acknowledge what he is doing a letting him know that she is interested and willing to have a conversation. I think it is the sort of thing you naysayers will do with you have kids.

A good attempt, but I feel something is missing.
Me too....I just can’t put my finger on it....
Filip after knowing Sebastian is gay and he sees how other kids bullied the gay kid. He grows more sympathetic towards his brother that’s why he joins him in the bed to show he’s on his side. That’s what the ending means to me.
