- I am giving you a full detailed resort and room tour of Disney’s Yacht Club Resort! This is a Disney deluxe resort, located steps away from Epcot on the Disney boardwalk. This resort has a lot to offer. Two great restaurants and two great lounges. Beautifully renovated rooms. Walkability to Epcot and Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Being on the boardwalk surrounded by lots of other Disney resorts and restaurants. And the number one rated pool in all of Walt Disney World, Stormalong Bay. I had the opportunity to stay at Disney's Yacht Club the night before Splash Mountain closed forever. The resort was beautiful and the beds were incredibly comfortable. As I drifted off to sleep, I had a vivid dream about Mr. Bluebird sitting on my shoulder.
In the dream, Mr. Bluebird whispered to me that he was going to miss all of his friends on the ride, but that he was excited to see what the future held. I hugged him tightly and promised to never forget him.
The next morning, I woke up feeling refreshed and excited to ride Splash Mountain one last time. As I got dressed and made my way to the park, I couldn't shake the feeling that something was different. It wasn't until I were standing in line for the ride that I realized what it was - Mr. Bluebird was actually sitting on my shoulder.
I was shocked and couldn't believe my eyes. Mr. Bluebird looked up at me and chirped a goodbye, before flying away. I was sad to see him go, but also grateful that I got to say goodbye in such a special way.
I rode Splash Mountain with a heavy heart, knowing that it was the last time I would ever experience the ride. But I also felt grateful for the memories I had made with Mr. Bluebird and all of his friends. I realized that, even though the ride was closing, the memories and the magic would live on forever.

I decided to stay at Disney's Yacht Club during the re-opening of Walt Disney World after the pandemic. I was excited to finally be able to experience the magic of the park again and the Yacht Club was the perfect place to do it.
Upon arriving, I was greeted with the stunning nautical-themed décor and the friendly staff. I checked into my room and was amazed by the comfortable beds and the cleanliness of the room. I couldn't wait to test out the beds and was pleased to find that they were some of the most comfortable beds I had ever slept on.
The next day, I explored the property and found that the pools were great. The water was crystal clear and the theming was spot on. I enjoyed lounging by the pool and soaking up the Florida sun.
The Yacht Club also offered a variety of dining options and I was able to enjoy some delicious meals while I was there. I also took advantage of the convenient location of the hotel and was able to easily walk to EPCOT and Disney's Hollywood Studios.
Overall, I had an amazing experience at Disney's Yacht Club. The beds were amazing, the pools was great, and the theming was fantastic. I couldn't wait to come back and experience it all again.

I visited this resort. While there, I fell down the stairs and my shoes fell off. Someone from guest services tried to help me, but I had a Vietnam flashback and began lashing out. They were very kind to me, even though I bludgeoned someone named "Frisbee" to death with a loose guard rail. I think he worked at the lemonade stand. He was a nice boy, Frisbee. Strong, confident, sinewy. The kind of kid you'd see playing baseball at the high school field through a pair of binoculars, your ankle monitor just at the edge of its limits. I hope Frisbee is in a better place, I certainly am ever since I came to Disney's Yacht Club Resort.
I believe he is at peace knowing he tried to help you. The lemonade stand lights a candle for him every solstice 🙏
We stayed there in May of 2021 for our Disney moon! Def would recommend this resort it was beautiful and just walking distance from Epcot which made that even more amazing!!

i was heck bent in staying INSIDE Animal Kingdom, but i think this might win since i can walk 20 minutes, but thats a lot of walking if we´re going to be walking all day. I think this one may win. Also about the globe, they where invented. In the marriott i go to over the summer (in the lobby) it has a wrap around couch and they all have outlits, the tables have outlits in them and its such a sweet lobby.

Amazing resort! When we were here my 2 year old daughter, who couldn’t swim, walked up to the pool and jumped right in, so I had to jump in to get her out. 🤦♂️
The Market is still on my dining To Do list. Ale & Compass and Yachtsman’s are great!

We stayed last summer, and the staff and resort were very nice. However, as a convention hotel, you can receive a room that is VERY far from the lobby. I did not think this was possible just looking at the map. I will never forget first arriving and on the way to finding the room, another guest said, “when you think you are completely lost, you are almost there.” She was totally right.

Hi!!!! Question about storm along bay! Are they still scanning magic bands and giving wrist bands to enter the pool?!?! Staying in 2 weeks.

I will be at Yacht Club in May. First (and probably last) time in a Deluxe resort. I probably won't have a water view. But the rest of the room should be what I have booked. Did you notice how to pay for the washers and dryers? There seem to be different payment methods, at different resorts. You could just use your credit or debit card at POR, but you had to use a third party app at Pop. I prefer using my card... then I can use my prepaid travel card that has US$ loaded on it, rather than my Australian card and then be subject to fluctuating exchange rates and international transaction fees. So I just wondered, what the story was at Yacht Club.

would you recommend staying at YC or Boardwalk as a solo traveler? Which one do you personally prefer?
I’d be super happy at either. But as an adult solo traveler myself, yacht feels more adult and cozy. It’s smaller and everything is right there. The lounge is great. And having the lazy river is such a plus! Plus, then you have all the stuff at beach club too.

I mean this is definitely the best pool, I would also say Port Orleans Riverside because they have a playground. And all of the All Stars have fun pools and playgrounds!
The only Yacht Club I recognize is the one responsible for Shovel Knight.

How were the cast members here? I stopped by the Yacht club front desk last summer to ask a question and the woman working was so shockingly rude I couldn’t believe that I was at a Disney resort. Hopefully that was just a one-off chance interaction?
