Any one else struggle to get the answer for TSA for cylinder , if I type in the last equation before the answer I get a different answer & I’m typing it exactly the same .

Hi Ms I'm not getting the same answer u are getting I'm getting 119.396cm squared instead of 232.51cm squared
The TSA for a cylinder is 2(π x r²) + 2(l x b) I did it just as 2 x π x r² + l x b and we got different answers
You would get different answers since these are different equations.

Why didn't we square the radius when working out circumference
The radius does not get squared in the circumference formula. Area = Pi x r squared. Circumference = 2 x Pi x r
