Thanks Sam, am currently studying Reflexology, this helped me to describe the location of solar plexus and adrenal reflexes as part of sixth assignment of learning, Ty
Hi Sam I,m new to reflexology however loving it and finding my way round the foot quite nicely . I do worry when trying pin point adrenals as some feet are really obvious especially if area sensitive and that I can gauge also by clients body language but other times I can,t always feel the dip and then loose confidence that I,m not in the right place ….can you reassure me please or maybe someone else who reads this . Might it mean that the adrenals are not over worked so that is why it’s is ,t obvious? Thank you in advance to a response. 😊
Absolutely. This is a great question. The maps of Reflexology change based on the shape of the foot. This is why knowing your bony landmarks is so important. Understand where the reflex 'should' be, then adjust to the shape of the foot. It does take time and practice, so don't beat yourself up about it. Remember, the body knows what you are trying to do.
Hi Cheri, Although I could demo it, I personally don't use it in my practice because the technique uses excessive force to stimulate already sensitive reflexes. I am certified in that method and I have had to alter my protocol based on client feedback (a.k.a. serious discomfort) and that is what has prevented me from demoing the techniques from that style of Reflexology.
Could you elaborate on how to access the stress level and the hormonal level? The hard knot = AD fatigue so I guess the harder more pronounced is the size of the depletion and the pulsing of the plexus would be fast=stress?
Excess tissues around a reflex (like the adrenals) would indicate over-production and potential blockage. Likewise, lack of tissue or hollowness represents a depleted reflex. You can find our more specific explanations in my book on foot assessment entitled "Foot Reading".
@@SamBelyea I am indeed reading your book and will be taking the online course. I love your videos and am taking furious notes! I'll meet you in a another month as I'm coming for the RLD. So exciting to meet both of you!
Hi Sam, I am from Mumbai - India. It is a very nice video and very nice way of explaining the subject. Will you please help us in the same way to locate all the Reflexology points on the foot? Awaiting your favorable reply. Thanks once again for such a nice video.
I have multiple videos and classes. For more detailed information, feel free to check out my online school here: foot-whisperer-reflexology.teachable.com/
The Foot Whisperer Reflexology Institute MM23019 hahaha I pushed hard 😣 dang wish I’d found your video first My solar plexus hurts everyday it feels better when I press these points tho..when I had it done in japan they pushed very hard so I did based off of that initially
Parkinsons is a lifestyle condition. Yes, I have found Reflexology helpful in terms of relaxation and decreasing symptoms around the time of the session, but things like diet, movement and a client's internal state have a bigger influence over time.
Thank you for so generously sharing all of your videos -they are such an amazing resource ❤
I love the simplicity of your explanation and the way you illustrated these areas. No confusion, just straight to it. Thanks so much!
Ive learnt more from you Sam thsn my college. Thank you

Can you demonstrate how to do the hook in and back up technique? Specifically, pituitary and adrenal reflex?

Thank you !
Thanks 🙏🏼
Thanks for watching Miguel.
I want to ask if there are any pressure points to clear the lymph and what is it? thank you very much
I would look into Sally Kay's work regarding Reflex Lymph Drainage for specific techniques to clear lymph :)
Will there be any sideeffects if it is not done correctly?
As long as you don't physically overload the feet by pressing too hard, there should not be any negative side effects :)

so interesting, i would love to get one of these treatments, does it matter if you have veiny feet? would that hurt a vein? btw you're so adorable.
Don't WORK ON VEINS.
