This song has touched me more powerfully than I could have imagined. I still carry the scars on my body from drug abuse that nearly took my life. These words have made me view these scars as badges of evidence of God’s Grace!
I was scrolling through Tik Tok yesterday and this song came up I broke down in tears. This song means so much to me because I'm am struggling with a lot because I am a teenager. I have been through a lot since I was very young and I still am. I believe that God has showed me this song for a reason.

Today I lost my firstborn daughter who was 40 and single and struggling with many things. Not a suicide, but a terrible accident slip and fall and instantaneous death. I sent this video to her hours before the accident. I pray she heard it. This song helps me to know she is with the Lord looking from the other side. Her scars hurt her, but saved her by being with our Lord. The world lost a piece of light today.

As a teenager, I am suffering a lot of insecurities from different teens. My mind always says that, "why am I not as good looking as they are" , "why do I have these scars in my face" and many more imperfections in my body. But then I realized, If ever I got an almost perfect face just like them, Do I still seek God more often just like today? Do I still pay attention to his words and messages for me everyday? Am I even listening to this song and other Christian songs? That's why I AM THANKFUL FOR MY SCARS, BECAUSE WITHOUT THEM I WOULDNT KNOW HIS HEART. Today, I keep fighting towards those insecurities and I must say, God is the reason behind that. Amen

I had 27 surgeries and my body is full of scars I lost my best friend and my brother during the same time and this song has so much meaning because during the worst time of my life Jesus saved me and I have been so grateful for every refining fire since I am so thankful for the scars He is faithfully ALL the time!

Many people go through something and say " Man, I regret going through this," not knowing that God needed you to go through that so He can bring you closer to Him. So the next time you think of the awful thing you went through, think " I'm glad that God brought me closer to Him through this experience". I know it hurts to go through this and God wishes He didn't have to it this way, but sometimes it's the bad experiences that bring us closer to God. Remember what Joseph said to his brothers : " What you meant for evil, God has turned it for good". The scars are there for a reason. Jesus wants you to be closer to Him. As I write this, I'm telling myself all of this. Always, always, always remember that without the scars, we wouldn't be closer to God. After all, it was His scars that brought Him closer to us.

this song is so special to me. I was abused as a child and bullied everyday at school. Fear and heartbreak was the only life i knew for 20 years. Most of my memory of my childhood is clouded by trauma and pain. when i was 20 i let Jesus tell me He loved me for the first time and i gave my broken heart back to Him and for the past year and a half He's been healing it🥰........oh my goodness reading my comment back to make sure i didn't make any mistakes with this song playing in the background made me emotional😭❤

I’ve struggled with extremely bad bouts of anxiety since I was 13. I’d have a couple good years, and then boom, wouldn’t be able to get through a day without a panic attack. Starving myself because food made it worse, barely able to attend school and losing weight. God knew though that it would make me look to Him for aid, and that’s what I did. I got closer to Him because of this battle, as much as I hate the suffering. He is my comfort. Thankfully at the moment I’m functioning better than usual, though I’m always fearful of a relapse. And when I have bad days with it, He is who I look to for strength. I’m not a lukewarm-Christian anymore, because of my scars.
Ok y’all this song hits. It made me think about something. I love the part at the “ I’m thankful for YOUR scars” so it got me thinking. Sometimes I get caught up thinking God doesn’t understand this scarred girl, but then I remember that Jesus has scars too 🥺. He understands 💛
This coronavirus quarantine is a scar to us all. I've cried, overrate to help me not be depressed, complaining because I cant see my friends or grandparents an being stuck in a state I hate , this has caused me to gain weight an my blood pressure to be a little high. But I have to remember that this epidemic is going to tell who God is and what he has brought me through. I am going to not let this epidemic get the best of me because God is bigger than my problems!
This song resonates with me and my life experience. When I was younger, I struggled with addiction, anger, and difficulty with my family. And I'm thankful that I went through all that pain because if I didn't, I never would've given my heart to God and I would've ended up in an even darker place right now. God is sooooo good!!!

My 50-year old husband passed away 9 years ago from Stage 4 colon cancer...it was a painful experience to go through with him. He suffered through 2 surgeries, 3 different chemotherapies and asities.
The comforts I was able to find any peace with was knowing that when he took his last breath he was present with Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and that we will "rendezvous again someday", and that God has another amazing angel in his army of angels❣

I have been through years of abuse and most of my scars are mental and emotional, but.. I am thankful for them. They led me to God and to Jesus and I know without a doubt it is because of Them I am still alive..

If you pay attention to the verses, you will notice God in three persons using the scars. First the Guiding Comforter, then the Faithful Father, and finally the Loving Savior. What do you think?

Exactly! The number three is important. God has three names, three beings, the father (faithful), son (savior) and holy spirit (comforter).
There’s a theological phenomena called: Trinitarian Problem. From what I recall in religion class, which taught all about christianity, the bible, and its history. From what I remembered the problem lay with the trinity and how it did not make sense that three entities was one being. It went on and on in class and I wish I paid attention but didn’t.
What I ended up doing now is explaining there is no theological problem is:
God is one being with three distinct identities, or names. Each of us as 3 names, beginning, middle, and last name. God is that too as the father, son Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit.
With this Jesus is able to show everyone his scars on his hands, and be able to understand humanity and it’s scars. When at church or even in the bible, written in his word. We can understand it really is a full-filling relationship.
Every person has scars and it’s by communicating with others we can heal from them. The Holy Spirit guides us to that healing to recognize who the Loving Savior is in order to understand who the Faithful Father is. Then we in turn reflect the healing other people with scars and them Jesus did for us.
I hope and pray this clarifies the three persons.

September 2nd, 2020. My world crashed down in a debilitating panic attack that freaked me and my family so bad we went to the ER. The next five months consisted of constant anxiety, so bad i had to be put on medication. Everyday was filled with panic, crying, crushing anxiety. I could barely sleep the whole night through withiut having a panic attack. It got to the point i asked God to take my life away. Then Febuary 2nd, 2021. I went to a Church i had never been to with my grandparents. It was a hopin' church. I felt the LORD's annointing immediately after stepping in.
I got delivered of anxiety that night. Holy Fire hit my veins and broke my chains. I can make eye contact now, i sleep the whole night through (out like a light) i blamed my scented plush toy for my panic attack. (Figuring i was allergic to the scent) now, i can sleep with him.
Forgot to add. For 5 years i was a prodigal returning and leaving God for the world. Not this time. He has me. He has me. ❤ 👑
