I've worked an absurd amount of hours the last two weeks, stupid really, I've just put our little boy to bed and I cannot tell you how comfortable it makes me to load up this video and have a watch. Sometimes your channel is like a comfort blanket Brough.
I was the guy in the tractor in the first few laps and it took over a minute to get up that first hill and over 3 minutes for the whole lap. I was also the one who had the habaneroll on the first lap so its unsurprising I finished last.
I recently started watching again after a long break. Project homecoming sure has a lot of nice cars. I just wish there was more than just a flash of the cars name when they switch. Maybe current vehicle could be listed just below all the other info on the right near the position. Rant over. I love the racing Brough
@@John_Hemingway RBS has since apologised for the poor recovery attempt which forced Lok off the road, as Lok was not expecting such an attempt. Callout valid

The first 10 laps of this race was going great for me. I started in 3rd, was in the lead for a while, but then my luck shifted and I started getting slower vehicles. The final nail in the coffin for my race was the Fieldmaster. There was no coming back from that. Either way, it was fun. Someday I'll get a Random All win.
Respawning does look a heck lot slower than recovering from a simple spin out, probably why ppl are reluctant to do it 'cause they don't want to loose even more positions for something that they didn't cause themselves.
chomprock's car was ahead at the apex (and would have been further ahead if not for a slight lag tap) so generally has a claim to the space on the outside, that wasn't given with a minor error. i would say it was right to just let it go as a racing incident and continue on with the race
That wasn't a call out. Chomp was unnecessarily slow going into the corner, but he was alongside so he was entitled to a cars width of space, which Broughy didn't give
Ah I've been missing so much with the power outages were I live. I have so much to catch up on. ;-; Also Broughy I suggest you and DiNmiTe just ignore some of those people. If they still don't know how the rules work after years of FiveM races then I doubt they are trying to understand how they work now. It took me one time trying to explain lag bubbles to that other person to realize that some people once their feelings and thoughts are set is going to be harder to deal with than a Lawnmower trying to push a Dozer up a hill. As like back then when people were getting fussy with the starts, and you try to improve the starts and they still whine, some people just can't be happy no matter what you say or do. So just focus on the people who are actually here for you. ^^
fun fact: broughy never steers fully to the right or left because his thumb is on an angle on the controller where if want to steer right, the stick goes slightly diagonal to the right. if he steers to the left it goes slightly diagonally as well
Wait so Lok Called out RBS because someone else forced RBS into a spin and he got knocked off the track. That's not exactly fair at all. Poor RBS. But the Game is the game.
Also before anyone starts I understand the Lok didn't know what happened to RBS. That's why I say it's unfair, but the game is the game. It happens. Not saying it's a bad call, but an unlucky one.

@dirpitz6157 you don't need to make contact to force someone off, it was a bad rejoin from me. I should be respawning in that situation or at least staying stationary until Lok had passed me, but I was just desperate to get going again
@dirpitz6157 I'm sorry, I disagree. Nobody is gaslighting me, if I disagreed with the call out I'm perfectly capable of voicing that myself. If you watch my perspective back I already knew it was worthy of a call out as it happened - I lift off the accelerator before the next turn, before Lok has even typed in the chat. I understand your perspective and agree that Lok could have possibly avoided me by driving behind me. However, I could have just as easily decided to reverse instead of driving forward, in which case the same issue would have occurred. The "overtaking car has the responsibility to pass safely" doesn't really apply in this case where the overtaking car is passing a stationary car that has just crashed. And while "rejoin" does imply being off the track, the rules about unsafe rejoins still apply here. I'm not sure how familiar you are with real motorsports, but it's widely accepted that when you spin out and cars are approaching to overtake, you need to stay stationary until they have passed. The reason for that is because a stationary car is predictable. If the stationary car moves, incidents like this occur because the approaching car has to pick a side to overtake and that could be the side the stationary car chooses to move into. It just becomes a guessing game. It's on me to rejoin safely here and I didn't. It's tough but it is what is. Either way I think this is all largely irrelevant because Lok had a better car selection than me for the last two laps, which would have likely given him the win regardless.
With the way some collisions effect the races I'm starting to wonder why you guys even run these with collision. It honestly seems like you'd have a more enjoyable time just racing each other's laptimes without the fear of ramming someone off the road or having to reset and losing 3 or 4 positions.
I think they would have more consistent closer races and that would work for when just gaming and not creating content, but as a viewer wouldnt be as enjoyable. just like most dont watch a race to see the drivers turn, they watch it to see the crashes. cheers.
Lok is such a sore loser for calling out RBS after driving off the track by himself... no contact involved. People should learn to slow down when they see slow cars ahead instead of just yeeting it in hopes of not losing time, unfortunately you can call out for any reason on this server which enables people to do that kind of reckless yeeting. smh.
I knew this would happen lol. I've spoken to rbs personally and he even said in another comment he completely understands, but alas the comments have a problem. The racing etiquette after an incident is to either respawn, or stay still until the track is clear to recover. I went to drive around him assuming he would stay still but he accelerated which left me with nowhere to go. I tried my best to avoid him rather than just punting right into him so the fact there was no contact doesn't really apply. I understand its frustrating trust me I would have much rather have gotten the position naturally but these things happen. Like I said I spoke with rbs and he was understanding and its also understandable why he accelerated, we're all human if I was in the same position I might have done it too.
Disagree with this 100%, let's not slander Lok please. There doesn't need to be contact to force someone off the track. I've elaborated on this more in another comment thread on this video which you can find if you like, but I already knew this was call out worthy as it happened (you can literally see me not accelerate fully into the next corner immediately after the incident, before Lok types in chat). This is pretty standard if you're familiar with real motorsports, but when a car is stationary on track, the approaching car has to pick a side to overtake on. There was more space on the right, so it makes sense why Lok chose right. However, at that moment I choose to try and spin around to get going again, which squeezes Lok up to the edge of the track and leaves him no space. Lok is expecting me to stay stationary (which is correct) but I didn't. There's no contact because Lok is forced to avoid contact. It's a bad rejoin from me. This is a clear example of why you're *meant* to stay stationary until it's clear, or respawn, because it avoids the guessing and miscommunication which can inevitably result in incidents like this. Unfortunately in my frustration at just being taken out, I misjudged it. As I've mentioned elsewhere, its largely irrelevant because Lok had better cars than me for the last two laps so he'd have likely won regardless.
It's amazing to me that such an obvious and reasonable callout and subsequent wait, which both parties agree was an obvious and reasonable callout and subsequent wait, sparks so much discussion. It's perfectly reasonable for Lok to move right to avoid the massive hulking truck reversing backwards onto the racing line while recovering from being spun around. At the time he had to make that decision to go left or right that's exactly what RBS was doing: reversing. At that point there's nothing he can do when RBS then stops abruptly and accelerates quickly into the path that has already been chosen. There's literally no time to do anything different. RBS, as he has said himself, should've either stopped and assessed the situation before moving, or respawned. So it was a completely valid callout. What makes this whole discussion even more silly is that the incident didn't even affect the outcome of the race. I'm so sick of the anti-Lok/anti-Mild/anti-being-a-good-driver bias and hate in comments on these videos. It's completely unwarranted and unfair on regular people just having fun with their racing.
