- In this tutorial, I am going to show you how to unroot/flash your Google Pixel smartphone stock firmware manually. You can try using the new flash method first, which is much easier but sometimes they can end you up in a bootloop and you can try this tutorial when that happens to you.

Yeah Max flashing the OTA image from the Nexus Pixel website also helps fix boot loops I know I keep coming back to the side load method but it does work I've done it many times already and I guess for for some it may be easier not sure but that'll fix the boot loops too yep yep have a good day bro

The OTA stock for pixel 3a xl does not have the flash-all files, and definitely not the batch file. So I'm stuck. The OTA file has a big payload.bin file

Thanks for this tutorial! I was hoping it would work on my Pixel 1, but it's bootloader is locked and it's stuck in a boot loop, so when running flash-all the command prompt fails as the requirements are not met. Any help much appreciated, but I fear that it's fully bricked!
idk if u still need help, its been a year, but if you do, then while in the bootloop, hold power button and volume down button, taking u to fastboot mode. After this, connect to pc via usb, the open cmd. If you downloaded the fastboot tools he did in the video and pasted them where he did, then the following should work. Type, "fastboot flashing unlock". This will unlock the bootloader. Then you can follow his instructions.

Do you know if there's a way to brick the phone and than unbrick to use it.
Also the video show using "flash-all.bat" but the written instruction say "run-all.bat"
You gotta put all those extracted files from your phone to the extracted files of platform tools for flash.bat to work. I learned that the hard way. Lol.

Yeah Max I got in a bootloop too all you got to do is factory reset and then it's fine I I tried to flash the firmware twice with the flash tool yesterday to fix my phone and I had to factory reset the second time once I realized what was going on and then it was okay
Yeah sometimes even that doesn't work which is happened to me while updating Pixel 3 XL the other day.
@@BIGMACMCDONALDLEE I see did you try the sideload method with the OTA image or zip to try to fix it that way too yeah it's just that if it doesn't matter whichever way it works the best for people is what needs to be taught haha but you're doing a great job bro Love it

Dude, from the Android Flash tool, can you flash files from local storage? I have a pixel 3 xl on PixelDust 13 and I want to check out other custom ROMs and now the custom ROM scene involves going back to stock everytime to flash another ROM AND most on XDA instruct to sideload instead of straight TWRP, both slots too. That A/B scheme or at least the instructions now sure made it a liitle more confusing. The internet itself has many different methods on diffferent sites, some not even correct and a noob could fuck shit up running bogus scripts and such. Just sayin. Hahaha! anyway, like a porn just skip to the money shot or just skip to my question.

I was trying to downgrade from os 12 to os 11 on my google pixel 3 xl but ende dup getting stuck in a bootloop. I did what you suggested to get out of the loop but when I did the wipe it says ELcant send spi message: try again and it says that over and over and at the bottom it says data wipe complete..but when I go to restart the phone it wont go into the phone itself it just stays at the bootloader screen
