    Exactly how I drive. Way over the speed limit but not stupid. Nice review!!!! Exactly what someone who rides bikes wants to hear about a bike.

    I just bought one. Got an incredible deal on this bike. It's in showroom condition with under 6000 miles. The seller was awesome and was meticulous about the care and maintenance. Going to get it today! Can't wait! Happy trails.

    I just got into riding. I spoiled myself and got a mint 2006 1100 custom with 6k miles on her. My first bike. I could not be a happier man. I am constantly looking for reasons just to get out and ride now.
    My Vstar Is what is getting me through this pandemic.

      Mind if I ask how much u paid? I’m about to get one for $3000 in mint condition really nice with 6,xxx miles on it and wondering what kind of deal I’m getting

    • @Mikesim1981
      @Mikesim1981 9 месяцев назад +1

      I paid $4500 over two years ago. Still have the bike. I’ve had no issues with it and I’ve put over 25,000 km on it. I added aftermarket pipes and added aftermarket seat, but other than that I left it stock. I’m looking forward to the upcoming season and have no interest in getting a different bike. Sounds like a fair deal to me.

    • @JakeSmoth-nv8sd
      @JakeSmoth-nv8sd 2 месяца назад

      What seat? Did you have to sync carbs or jet? I bought Vance and hines and noticed my bike didn’t start right up like it did with stock pipes

    • @Mikesim1981
      @Mikesim1981 2 месяца назад +1

      I went with a mustang saddle and I never had to rejet the carbs as I just installed cobra slip on pipes. I believe if you install a full exhaust system, you will then have to rejet.

    It's sick how cheap bikes are in the US. I've got a 2001 V-Star 1100 and I payed 6500€ for it which is roughly $7300. On top of that we have about 5-6 months of riding time in the year in Finland. And the government is talking about increasing the taxes and payments of bikes even further... I wish I lived in the US :D

    Size doesn't matter on a bike. My 110 pound ex-wife had a Honda VTX 1300 that weighed more than my V-Star 1100.
    She found my V-Star for me...$3500 with 1900 MILES on it. The thing wasn't even broken in. And I love it more than any of the Harleys that I used to own. It is a great bike.

    I've owned my 06 V-Star 1100
    Classic Silverado for close to 10 years now, still the original Yuasa battery! It's been a great bike for me and my fiancé. Just haven't had much time to ride. She only has 4,500 miles!
    V-Stars are good bikes. It's almost impossible to find a bad one and if you do, it was probably abused, but they still run!! I've never seen one with a bad engine in my experience with them and talking to other V-Star owners.

    • @1961fairlane500
      @1961fairlane500 7 лет назад +1

      I see your post is 7 months ago and you said your bike had 4500 miles on it. About four years ago when mine hit around 4500 miles ( I also have the '06 ) the starter clutch went out. I was able to replace it myself, but if you take it to a shop they are going to charge at least $1400!!! What pissed me off most about that is that Yamaha knew there was a problem with the starter clutch and never did a recall. Other than that the only thing I've had to do is regular maintenance. I've been ridin' this bike for nine years now and wouldn't get rid of it for nothin'!!!!

    How can a dealer review a bike? Wouldn't be an unbiased review, your a sales man with al do respect. Not that what your saying isn't true, but obviously you don't want to tell anyone there complete junk as a sales man.

      +EnVision great question, some bikes are junk and I m honest about it and the price reflects that. But one mans junk is another's treasure. And all bikes have a buyer and a purpose. My job is to not mislead anyone about the condition and what the bikes good for

    So how you gonna shoot a video, and act like thats not a sweet looking 4 door Metro right there? And a hatch back too. Come on, we can't just pretend we didn't see it. It's like filming a UFO and bigfoot walks by flashing a peace sign, and you don't even mention it.
