These offensives remind me of those of Nazi Germany late in the war; the Battle of the Bulge, the offensive towards Hungary, the Rhone River offensive. All of them were doomed to fail even before they started.
I never understood why Russia attacked towns and villages head on when the surrounding area's are just fields. It drove me nuts for 2 years. Now they are flanking them they have made significant progress. Unless there is a reason i am not seeing i find it staggering incompetence to attack a fortified area instead of simply cutting off supplies to that area and forcing a retreat.
It was because there were millions of mines everywhere. Kiev has been building fortifications and minefields for years there. There was no chance to flank those positions, they were all blocked by massive minefields, artillery fire pre set, observation points, automated vigilance equipment. So the best they could come up with was to shorten the distance and focus on a straight path, clean mines and charge to get a hold of urban land. Once inside it was game over. Now the fortifications are ending and they lack mines, they used them all. So Russia has space to maneuver now. Also the glide bombs and mass usage of drones changed everything.
Incompetence of the general earlier on was really mind-boggling and now they have learned and have adjusted the machine is fully oiled and the steam roller is moving forward.
Both mines and drones. I think the situation has improved in both respects, fewer mines because the front has moved beyond the UA prepared positions, fewer drones both because of improved jamming and because UA is running short on hardware, infrastructure and manpower.

It has become their graveyard. The Russians have it surround and are in no hurry to finish off the cauldron which it has created there.
yes look at what happened to the kursk offensive. Going to be known as one of the biggest military blunder's of all time. They were already on the back foot and tried to invade russia and take hostage a power plant. The fell short of the latter and now are losing ground each day that passes in kursk, while expending much needed resources for defense. not only are they losing ground in kursk, they are losing ground along the whole line of contact with ukrainians abandoning their posts. the regime in ukraine is desperate, and so is the regime in the usa, thats why this escalation now. any deal ends with ukraine losing ground, and tbh i have serious doubts wether the dictator zelinsky would survive an election, if he ever allows them.
On the Kursk area, in the three weeks leading up to the attack between 2024/07/14 and 2024/07/25, Ukrainian drones exhibited unusual behavior, targeting transformers deep within the Kursk region. Perhaps this same sign could reappear in the coming days.

AGAIN! Ive been very curious about ukranian counters and I have been stressing hopefully wanting to get people to pay attention to this pattern of what looks like makes no sense if you go along with what zelenzky says. Zelenzky and his supporters once again brought up man shortage issue which is usually zelenzky and other not so important allies stressing men shortages including by the media, and after that once again, its the french and UK talking about deploying their troops, and today here is another big counter readiness report, but by who and how is it that usually after men shortage outcry there's massive so called ukranian brigades of some sort counter measure operation. Seriously, are these so called ukranian fighters all ukranians, and if so, do they come back from the grave? We are not talking about 20-50 or few hundreds of fighters being recruited all over because there is not anyone to recruit. Lets be honest, if the french and uk puts on ukranian uniforms nobody is going to think the dead are other than ukranians, and once they are dead they cant talk, but also we understand that usually foreign NATO members does not fight along with ukranian conscripts. They have their own brigade fighting under ukranian flag. To me I think is just obvious by now. I cant think of ukranians just falling from the tree whenever they are called.
You are exactly right on this matter, I had the suspicion that there are mercenaries from all over the western world dressed as ukranian soldiers, that is why the russians offer the possibility for real ukranians to surrender, and they show no mercy to mercenaries.
@@tropickman what made me really come back to this was what the captured british guy said. He said he seen call for fight with ukraine on tv as promotion advertisement with very fat payments. There is no certainty of a harsh winter in Ukraine. Winters in Ukraine are unstable with a cold period for a few days and a thaw/warm period for a few days or weeks. And we are talking about the Southern part of Ukraine. What harsh winters is Dima talking about there?
Tracking western missiles into Ukraine is not difficult one country being Poland host them from the u.k , so why does Russia allow the missiles to be used?
There is a river indeed. Just go to Google Earth and zoom in to 10-20 km altitude. The most recent aerials are showing current conditions. Dima as always exaggerates a lot
There is no way Ukraine con not be having loses with all the advances Russia is making and everyone knows Ukraine has a lot less forces than Russia, so tell us what countries are all these extra troops coming from since Ukraine is limited? Ukraine would already be defeated if not for supplies from the US and NATO while their own citizens are being forced to pay higher taxes to Zelensky
They are definitely going to try for Zaporizhzhia power plant again as they have been trying to get it back for years, they could not get to the Kursk power plant so they going to try for this one again even after failing so many times already
Power to the people down with evil Empire
keep in mind that every time the Ukrainians lose one of the strongholds / bunker lines , there is a good chance that a lot of ammunition remained for the Russians to utilize
Through history US and western countries always come when their defending vasal or ally is nearly defeated or the enemy is about to loose. Philippine American war Spain is defeated in Luzon then Americans come, Vietnam war French is defeated , Korean war, American invasion of the Soviet Union where the Tzar is already captured, Gulf war Kuwait lost and surrender. D-day where Germany already in a verge of collapse. They also funded Nazi Germany to attack USSR for a while until it bite their hands.
Lack of further response to long range ATACMS attacks is giving strength to NATO assumption they can cross any red line with impunity. Next they will be giving Ukraine nuclear weapons. Russia really needs to do something meaningful before it's too late.Russia made progress in Donetsk but stalled in Chasiv War, Toretsk, Kursk Unimpressive.
What is the difference in elevation between where the water used to be between the "banks" of the former Dneipr River, the area you identified? It seems like there may be a cliff where the bank used to be. It may not be so easy to roll across that area.
Ukraine dont have any experience attacking a fortified city like enerhodar. One thing is attacking a Kursk village or city without any defense and with 0 "war-time" experience, other is attacking enerhodar, who have 2 years of "war-time", always in red zone (Russia control) and with all the logistic prepared. Its not logic also, use only 1 route (mentioned in the video) to attack enerhodar, because a dumb-rule of war is to never use a "bottleneck route" to advance to a objetive. At this moment, Ukraine dont have much soldiers to spare, so for logic, a counterattack in the dombass direction or the south is out of question. I think the next move for Ukraine will be a escape from Kursk and attack to the East of Liman, a very low protected zone (All the Russia defense are in the dombas, and the south, but not in the east). ALSO, maybe Moldavia (Russia control zone). If they get their hand in the Russia base with the big arsenal there, will be a completed disaster for Russia Army. Ukraine dont have much options right now, if they try another counter-atk in the south, this war will be over very fast infavor of Russia army.

There are 10’s of thousand of foreign mercenaries and soldiers masquerading as mercenaries
Maybe they lowered the conscription age to 10... Elenskyyy's youth.
@@tropickman what made me really come back to this was what the captured british guy said. He said he seen call for fight with ukraine on tv as promotion advertisement with very fat payments. So, you have british society that are anti-russia by hand down from parents or due to propaganda, but we know brittish people dont care about russia, and their economy is in ruins. no jobs, and drugs everywhere. Than you see the fancy ukraine promotion to fight with heros against bad russians. fight for freedom and even get paid. Can you imagine just how many might have joined all ages? South america has promo happening and im sure france does too and who knows where else? its wild.asf
The end is near
U kidding us??? There are 6 km from Nuclear Plant to the other side of the Dnieper. S-I-X. Imagine ukros trying to get to the other side through 6 km...if you believe that ground in the river is solid as a rock hahaha. What a joke bro
Once the ground gets even a thin crust of frost (i.e. 6-12 inches) it will be easy to traverse the floodplain lands on either side of the water channel with any kind of heavy machinery. But crossing the actual river would still be difficult.
Arrh but Dima will be telling us soon that the North Koreans are based at the plant after being moved from Kursk.
You making a fool out of your self !!
He sad: "currently it's very difficult to understand the Quality of the surface"
"And if the operation is going to start, obvious when the temperature will be deep below zero when the surface be freezed several meter above. then there will be possibilities to do anything"
@@robinhoodwinker8621 This year is exeptionaly warm. It's almost December and there is barely any frost, let alone freezing ground. At this rate it won't happen before January
@@robinhoodwinker8621 "any kind of heavy machinery"? Excepting a Challenger tank, of course.

Crimea - Ukraine is old historically Russian Ancetral land.
Since 1783,when US was recognized by UK as independent
Of course.
Crimea in Ukraine from 1991-2014. From 1954 was only on paper !!!
Up to half a million Ukrainian troops have been killed and wounded in the ongoing conflict, according to the latest estimates provided by The Economist, which cited leaked intelligence reports, official statements and open sources. - RT
AI has posted about 900,000 deaths based on obituaries from Ukraine.
1.5million!!
Far more
1.8 million Ukrainian KIA and wounded since the SMO started
If only we could post links on RUclips for the people eating propaganda that are too lazy to type the words in the search bar themselves
Another supposition video. One dude says a word, Dima makes entire movies out of it!
Way too much speculation.
Your hypothesis that the AFU may be planning an offensive sounds good to me even if I think it would be a major strategic and operational blunder. If it does happen you've made a very impressive prediction.
Actually there is still water in the river because it’s the only way the power plant can operate.

Russian assetts are the Russian people, not the lines on maps, the size of territories, or the respect and fear shown to Russian oligarchs.
Your videos are getting more and more boring, too long for that small content you actually show.
total clickbait title and 3/4 of the talk about suppositions, thumbs down
"Who" will lead the Ukrainian counter-offensive? Sirsky speaks in riddles. Exciting!
The Nafo/bandera cabal Broadcasting another UKR counteroffensive. How did a heads up broadcast turned out for them in June 2023
Not too good.
There got to be river barrier betwen Energodar and Ilynka.. Dnipro river got to flow.
Hi thank u for information good work

There is no certainty of a harsh winter in Ukraine. Winters in Ukraine are unstable with a cold period for a few days and a thaw/warm period for a few days or weeks. And we are talking about the Southern part of Ukraine. What harsh winters is Dima talking about there?
... the 200 Strykers may be able to cross the old road to Energodar from the other side...
Everything that comes from Kiev rezime is lie. Stop with that BS about another super duper offensive. Its pathetic and laughfable
Thank you Dima, excellent updates... Front line across the southern front looks giant metal saw blade cutting into the softwood of the battlefield.

Tracking western missiles into Ukraine is not difficult one country being Poland host them from the u.k , so why does Russia allow the missiles to be used?
Where are the North koreans?
I'm guessing North Korea.

02:58 "there is no more river at all" ! I can't believe that.
There is a river indeed. Just go to Google Earth and zoom in to 10-20 km altitude. The most recent aerials are showing current conditions. Dima as always exaggerates a lot
Thanks for the update 🎉🎉🎉
There is no way Ukraine con not be having loses with all the advances Russia is making and everyone knows Ukraine has a lot less forces than Russia, so tell us what countries are all these extra troops coming from since Ukraine is limited? Ukraine would already be defeated if not for supplies from the US and NATO while their own citizens are being forced to pay higher taxes to Zelensky
Thanks Dima
That’s like telling your enemy I’m coming to spin on your block and expecting them not to be ready for you 😂
They are definitely going to try for Zaporizhzhia power plant again as they have been trying to get it back for years, they could not get to the Kursk power plant so they going to try for this one again even after failing so many times already
Russia should retain novorossiya and incorporate all of Ukraine except galicia as a Republic with autonomy in the RF
Several more minutes of Dima speculation at the start. Stick to the facts on the ground.
What are the result details of the Oreshnik Dnipro attack?
No one who is planning the offensive talks about it - so the Ukrainian declarations are nonsense.
Ukraine spoke about their last one week's before it happened. They even made a movie trailer about it. Shhhhhh.
Why did Russians made pause in Toretsk,Chasov Yar and Lyman ?
For fortify the lines
At 2:20, the map location is correct.

Meiner Meinung nach sollten die Russen die verschiedenen Kessel mit abgestimmten Überraschungsangriffen in die Zweite oder dritte Verteidigungslinie vergrößern um diese dann an der Linie des geringsten Widerstandes zu schließen .

keep in mind that every time the Ukrainians lose one of the strongholds / bunker lines , there is a good chance that a lot of ammunition remained for the Russians to utilize

Nah, he’s pro Ukrainian he’s tired of the Ukrainian territorial losses
Are you okay? You sound a bit sad, open your heart for the summaries ❤
What a nothing burger today
Frontal assault is stupid if you can besiege a fortress!
