      Thanks a lot for this short subsummation of the events. Especially the surrounding tactic is the first important military tactic to avoid well positioned and prepared ennemy forces. Secound effect is the possibility to cut the ennemy from its ressources. That the russians only in 23 adopted this options is a fact what I am not understanding too! - And I would like to get there about more informations than 99 speculations where the russians could move also especially if there is no real direction visible. another problem seems to be the empty lake near the nuclear powerplant - The ground must be fully moody but it could be possible to pass it if frozen by chars...= Or is there stille some large river-bed!?

    BREAKING: ORESHNIK !
    Russia is closing the airspace for aircraft flights over the Kapustin Yar test site in the Astrakhan region, from where a ballistic missile strike was launched earlier. Moscow officially closed the skies over the test site until November 30, publishing a NOTAM (Notice to Airmen or Notice to Air Missions) - an official document informing about certain changes in a certain area that could affect air traffic safety.

    I don't think Ukraine has the manpower for a serious offensive like the previous one in 2023. They don't even have troops to stop the Russians advance. I never understood why Russia attacked towns and villages head on when the surrounding area's are just fields. It drove me nuts for 2 years. Now they are flanking them they have made significant progress. Unless there is a reason i am not seeing i find it staggering incompetence to attack a fortified area instead of simply cutting off supplies to that area and forcing a retreat.

    • @Argentvs
      @Argentvs 12 часов назад +22

      It was because there were millions of mines everywhere. Kiev has been building fortifications and minefields for years there.
      There was no chance to flank those positions, they were all blocked by massive minefields, artillery fire pre set, observation points, automated vigilance equipment. So the best they could come up with was to shorten the distance and focus on a straight path, clean mines and charge to get a hold of urban land. Once inside it was game over.
      Now the fortifications are ending and they lack mines, they used them all. So Russia has space to maneuver now.
      Also the glide bombs and mass usage of drones changed everything.

      yes look at what happened to the kursk offensive. Going to be known as one of the biggest military blunder's of all time. They were already on the back foot and tried to invade russia and take hostage a power plant. The fell short of the latter and now are losing ground each day that passes in kursk, while expending much needed resources for defense. not only are they losing ground in kursk, they are losing ground along the whole line of contact with ukrainians abandoning their posts. the regime in ukraine is desperate, and so is the regime in the usa, thats why this escalation now. any deal ends with ukraine losing ground, and tbh i have serious doubts wether the dictator zelinsky would survive an election, if he ever allows them.

    AGAIN! Ive been very curious about ukranian counters and I have been stressing hopefully wanting to get people to pay attention to this pattern of what looks like makes no sense if you go along with what zelenzky says. So let me elaborate this again. Zelenzky and his supporters once again brought up man shortage issue which is usually zelenzky and other not so important allies stressing men shortages including by the media, and after that once again, its the french and UK talking about deploying their troops, and today here is another big counter readiness report, but by who and how is it that usually after men shortage outcry there's massive so called ukranian brigades of some sort counter measure operation. Seriously, are these so called ukranian fighters all ukranians, and if so, do they come back from the grave? We are not talking about 20-50 or few hundreds of fighters being recruited all over because there is not anyone to recruit. Lets be honest, if the french and uk puts on ukranian uniforms nobody is going to think the dead are other than ukranians, and once they are dead they cant talk, but also we understand that usually foreign NATO members does not fight along with ukranian conscripts. They have their own brigade fighting under ukranian flag. To me I think is just obvious by now. I cant think of ukranians just falling from the tree whenever they are called.

    Through history US and western countries always come when their defending vasal or ally is nearly defeated or the enemy is about to loose. Philippine American war Spain is defeated in Luzon then Americans come, Vietnam war French is defeated , Korean war, American invasion of the Soviet Union where the Tzar is already captured, Gulf war Kuwait lost and surrender. D-day where Germany already in a verge of collapse.
    They also funded Nazi Germany to attack USSR for a while until it bite their hands.

    Lack of further response to long range ATACMS attacks is giving strength to NATO assumption they can cross any red line with impunity. Next they will be giving Ukraine nuclear weapons. Russia really needs to do something meaningful before it's too late.Russia made progress in Donetsk but stalled in Chasiv War, Toretsk, Kursk Unimpressive.

    Ukraine dont have any experience attacking a fortified city like enerhodar. One thing is attacking a Kursk village or city without any defense and with 0 "war-time" experience, other is attacking enerhodar, who have 2 years of "war-time", always in red zone (Russia control) and with all the logistic prepared. Its not logic also, use only 1 route (mentioned in the video) to attack enerhodar, because a dumb-rule of war is to never use a "bottleneck route" to advance to a objetive.
    At this moment, Ukraine dont have much soldiers to spare, so for logic, a counterattack in the dombass direction or the south is out of question.
    I think the next move for Ukraine will be a escape from Kursk and attack to the East of Liman, a very low protected zone (All the Russia defense are in the dombas, and the south, but not in the east).
    ALSO, maybe Moldavia (Russia control zone). If they get their hand in the Russia base with the big arsenal there, will be a completed disaster for Russia Army.
    Ukraine dont have much options right now, if they try another counter-atk in the south, this war will be over very fast infavor of Russia army.
