Hey so I'm not that good of a builder unlike NoRespawns but your comment inspired me to try that build. I uploaded a tour of a dock settlement for the Children of Atom on my channel if you wanna see a bare-bones version of it.
You could build a small research station in that marshy area around where Murkwater is. It could be elevated up above the ground to show that the people who built it had to make their own foundation. Some of the platforms can be sunk down and could have extra supports to try to keep it from sinking more. There could be various bug and mirelurk related objects around the settlement to show that that is what is being researched.
I recently switched from PS4 to PC just for a better modding experience and I still continue to find inspiration every time I watch your videos. Honestly though, I’d still watch your stuff even if I stopped playing FO4 because I love the content you put out and I think you’re awesome ✌🏻✌🏻
oh boy, ideas, I have many. lol. 1) rooftop player home in downtown Boston. 2) small hunters shack, make it infant of one of the small underground bunkers 3) kinda useless, but an underwater home 4) treehouse 5) somewhere on top of the highways build something. 6) vault 111 is a must 7) build up diamond city more - this is more of a "series" idea, but add more shacks in the stands and wherever else 8) a small boat or raft in the middle of the water, use one of the floating palettes littering the water already 9) make one of the many broken churches into a player home 10) the cave with the alien, build that up as a synth/institute lair, and build up outside as if the synths are studying the crashed alien ship 11) give the friendly deathblow a nice place to stay 12) player home atop the tallest tower in the game 13) radio tower raider base 14) find a body of water, make a public bath house for people to get clean 15) Red rocket's mole rat hole 16) On top of a hospital, a brotherhood of steel medical facility That's a few, if I think of more I'll certainly add them
I made an "entertainment" house in a church, its kinda wrong but it just fits the theme, its on my twitter page if you want to check it out, its only a small slice of the build but it gives you the idea. twitter.com/Channel_Ray_Nay
1. Pirate ship on one of the green tugboats with USO raider tarps as sails. Run by raiders or gunners. 2. Commonwealth Pet Shop in the police station by Diamond City, with some wild mongrels in the jail cells. 3. Crab fisher's shack in the flooded police station. Mirelurks in the cells. 4. Brotherhood checkpoint on the bridge leading to East Boston or by the diner. 5. Back alley railroad safehouse stockpiled with everything an operative needs in the field. Maybe has a rooftop sniper post.
Maybe lore-wise, you can say the area wasn't quite as irradiated at first, but has since dispersed out a bit. Not quite as irradiated as it was when the bomb dropped, but has since dispersed a bit and it slightly less irradiated in the area, but someone once lived here before it got so bad.
I don't think that that would work lore wise, as the fallout from the bomb has been gone for quite some time. If I am correct the reason that the Glowing Sea is there is because there were nuclear power plants there that went into meltdown, and all of the radiation that resulted from it became the glowing sea.
cartoonzgaming maybe, I assumed it was due to the nuke that dropped where the Crater of Atom is, but I was just giving an example. Maybe, before the radiation from the power plants got so bad, someone had settled in the area?
cartoonzgaming what's funny, there is a blown up nuclear power plant near the country crossing, but there isn't any glowing sea, I think that since glowing sea was a prewar industrial area, it was overcrowded with all the nuclear stuff, reactors included
Steinn Bjorn Yeah, that is most likely the reason. I really wish that there was more to the Glowing Sea though, as it would have been much cooler to explore in.
I have a really nice idea i think about a lot! The downtown area in Front of the Castle (those houses, little City) should be connected with the Castle, like it gets secured by it and ppl live inside those old houses...etc. I could talk about this for like another 10min. (I know its not small, but i just think it would look amazing :D)
Also there’s a small pond near sunshine tidings with a land mass in the middle (marked location iirc). Great place to make a little hunting shack and build a bridge to get across. Use lanterns for lighting maybe a windmill for a little power. I can send you a picture of mine if you’d like.
After seeing your mod review on the work bench anywhere I took the plunge and added it to my list, I am currently reworking the general atomics area seeing as it is run by robots and doesn't really need settlers so to speak, would love to see your take on this area as I feel it has a fair bit of potential without being to large of an area, keep up the amazing work dude and as always I will eagerly await your next build
I have a suggestion and a couple recommendations, but for the most part it's up to you. Interior Settlements. The only interior Settlements we get in the game is Home Plate (not really a settlement) and Vault 88. That I know of. I thought about building in the Boston Public Library. It might be too big for just a player home build tho. There's another place I want to build at in The Glowing Sea. It's a parking garage, mostly buried, near the remains of a Super Duper Mart. It looks like it would make a great ghoul settlement. Kind of like Underworld in FO3. Could call it The Grave or The Coffin or something less grim, but still relates somehow. Anyway, interior Settlements in general would be a nice change of pace.
Would love to see you do something with a parking garage; Maybe make that the next bigger-ish build? Multiple layers; rooms etc. Would also let you use a lot of vehicle parts and be a sorta salvage area?
Actually as a more serious suggestion, mahkra fishpacking has a large silo you can get into with some clever jetpacking I believe. Would be cool to see some kind of build inside the silo.
There's like a small enclave of a building with a fire escape in front of the hallucinogen building would be a decent railroad supply area or safe stop
If you can get him to, get Hancock to live there and say you stumbled across this place during your trip through the sea. He fell in love with the place a wanted to make it his own getaway.
All this vid did was make me wish MORE of the Commonwealth map was made like the Glowing Sea. It feels properly post-apocalyptic now just "oh, the trees don't have leaves and theres bricks on the ground"
Tim timman has a mod that calls the same work bench every time and he worked on the scrap the Commonwealth mod so their work together also the work bench that you summon has a fast travel ability
You could cover the roof if you had the PLACE ANYWHERE TOOL man! As a fellow FO4 builder and someone that enjoys your builds I need to recommend it AGAIN even though you mentioned on previous videos you don’t want to use it. Anyways AWESOME video man! Keep it up!
Some kind of militaristic base for brotherhood/ minutemen somewhere? Maybe a railroad safehouse in a subway tunnel? Also is the sandbag fortifications mod available on PS4? If so, then definitely make good use of that !
maybe you should find a mod that allows you to place one of those RV type campers and build a player home in that although it would be more decoration rather than build but there is the possibility of build a structer around it
You haven't build some kind of hunting cabin/lodge for quite some time. Maybe build a small, scrappy one somewhere in the wild? Would work pretty well with the Workshop Anywhere I think. As always a really nice build with this one. That 'toilet' outside cracked me up. Imagine sitting there while Deathclaws are walking around. Not very comfortable :D
Back when I played WoW I made a script for my warrior PC so that about every 10th time he fired his rifle he'd say "See, Vera? Dress yourself up you get taken somewhere fun."
Hay Davy. I would like to see a traveling circus if you have the time. Maybe on (spectacle island? The one with the road on) either set up or just bradman led caravans on a pitstop.
@norespawns the railroad signs in CVA are under the 4th toggle set to save you the search time. And yes, I do have that memorized. (Not sure how to tag Davey, someone help)
How about a brother hood checkpoint in the middle of down town Boston like a big wall that almost blocks one side of the city from the other. Have one entrance that almost acts as a airport terminal where you have to show what you are bringing from one side of the wall to the other
It would be cool to see some builds in nukaworld. Maybe inside the space ride thingy, og it's possible. (I forget what it's called 😅) Or in the zoo area perhaps. Idk Anywhere within the themepark would be cool really, And a great place for those little setpiece builds 😊
I love builds in the glowing sea! I build there myself, highly inspired from Darth Xions hole Settlement there, which is really cool! Ps. one CAN sleep in Radiation, you just need to find a fast Moment, where the Geiger doesn't sound lol Than the Game thinks "oh it's fine now" lol At least it works for me in radiation! (= I would love to play a Ghoul hmpf >.< really like that little hide out^^ Looks good. I latest builded in Good Neighbor! Build there my own little Player home in the streets, and it'svery cool to come 'home' there. XD Maybe this would be a location you would like to build something too, because you and Hancock are Chem-Buddies?! lol There is a Overhaul Mod (saw it just yesterday) for the PC, where they put a Market in Goodneighbor, what looks SO good! Could be a nice inspiration for us PS Users too? ^^ Oh and General Atomics Factory is awesome to build too! Made my Playerhome in front of it, on a Boat and it's cool! OH (blahblahblah) you could use Scap that Settlement and Scrap that Commonwealth together! They work awesome together and you can literally scrap EVERYTHING.... (so be very carefull....me learned it the hard way lol), but it works very good! (= So after a lot of blahblah, have a nice one! XD
oh sure, maybe it worked better for me as his videos usually release late at night and so the previous mood was just nicer to my ears, its no big deal anyways
YES FINALLY A GLOWING SEA BUILDING YES OMG FUCK YES YES HOLLY SHIT. (I really like the glowing sea) as someone who LOVES the children of Adam and all things radiation I'm so happy

Outside of diamond city, on top of it. There's a small start of a diner. That would make a great place for a small build for you.
It would be cool if you built something in the giant institute crater, like a children of atom colony
Dr. Vrabeldawg that’s a great idea
that would be good for a rp
Hey so I'm not that good of a builder unlike NoRespawns but your comment inspired me to try that build. I uploaded a tour of a dock settlement for the Children of Atom on my channel if you wanna see a bare-bones version of it.
or in the cambridge crater

It's a little plane, but I love it.
I get the pun

3) kinda useless, but an underwater home
4) treehouse
5) somewhere on top of the highways build something.
6) vault 111 is a must
7) build up diamond city more - this is more of a "series" idea, but add more shacks in the stands and wherever else
8) a small boat or raft in the middle of the water, use one of the floating palettes littering the water already
9) make one of the many broken churches into a player home
10) the cave with the alien, build that up as a synth/institute lair, and build up outside as if the synths are studying the crashed alien ship
11) give the friendly deathblow a nice place to stay
12) player home atop the tallest tower in the game
13) radio tower raider base
14) find a body of water, make a public bath house for people to get clean
15) Red rocket's mole rat hole
16) On top of a hospital, a brotherhood of steel medical facility
That's a few, if I think of more I'll certainly add them

also, if the workshops do work in structures, head back to the castle and build up the basement
I kinda liked the old Westerny background music (the one in the last vid)
mixing up the music from here on - just 'cos i'd be using the same few tracks for ages now
norespawns What was the name of your previous music titles?
Finally, I wanted to make a good looking base in the glowing sea for a quick sleep and resupply.

NAHTE1696 perhaps, but what if instead a guy who was on that plane survived and turned into a ghoul and made the base? That would be cool.
cartoonzgaming what's funny, there is a blown up nuclear power plant near the country crossing, but there isn't any glowing sea, I think that since glowing sea was a prewar industrial area, it was overcrowded with all the nuclear stuff, reactors included

Wow you really did go and fill in every hole you could in that bare bones of a plane.
Also the new background music is jammin'! I like it.
I always thought. Wow I would love to live here. When going through Pickman’s Gallery. :)
This little spot you built in the glowing sea is very cool.
If you can get him to, get Hancock to live there and say you stumbled across this place during your trip through the sea. He fell in love with the place a wanted to make it his own getaway.
Maybe Robot scavenger house in nuka world in the Galactic Zone ??
that's a good one
Thanks
All this vid did was make me wish MORE of the Commonwealth map was made like the Glowing Sea. It feels properly post-apocalyptic now just "oh, the trees don't have leaves and theres bricks on the ground"
I always thought Mystic Pines would be an excellent settlement. Definitely a fixer-upper.
When you said ''Funky little shack'' totally made me think of the B52's, Love shack. Yes, I am that old.
You know that overpass highway "settlement" with the big windmills? Build there mate, love your builds
Nicely done, per usual. How about fixing up the galleria. The robots could use some love, and a better inventory.
The marina use it as a supply point for the minute man along the river
It’s a beautiful little home but the constant ticking of the Geiger counter would get old.
Rooftop Lookout Outpost in downtown Boston ran by Minutemen with covert Railroad house.
Tim timman has a mod that calls the same work bench every time and he worked on the scrap the Commonwealth mod so their work together also the work bench that you summon has a fast travel ability
jesus thank you for changing the background music. its so much better now. im not even a fan of electronic but its better than the other stuff
That's grand! You should be quite chuffed. Howeather, I would only live there if I were a ghoul.
You could cover the roof if you had the PLACE ANYWHERE TOOL man! As a fellow FO4 builder and someone that enjoys your builds I need to recommend it AGAIN even though you mentioned on previous videos you don’t want to use it. Anyways AWESOME video man! Keep it up!

"Oh no, I've broken the Glowing Sea!"
Inside and around a vertibird. I built one on the overpass in Graygarden.
You named your gauss rifle Vera. Is that a reference to Jayne's rifle from Firefly?
Yus. Always have a Vera (she's a crossbow in Skyrim).
Back when I played WoW I made a script for my warrior PC so that about every 10th time he fired his rifle he'd say "See, Vera? Dress yourself up you get taken somewhere fun."
Something like what the gunners use on a freeway
Hay Davy. I would like to see a traveling circus if you have the time. Maybe on (spectacle island? The one with the road on) either set up or just bradman led caravans on a pitstop.
One of my favorite builds.
@norespawns the railroad signs in CVA are under the 4th toggle set to save you the search time. And yes, I do have that memorized. (Not sure how to tag Davey, someone help)
Just as I'm about to go to bed
Hey Davey, ever thought of uploading ur settlement builds to Bethesda.net? you think that would be an option for us fans to experience the builds?:)
How about a brother hood checkpoint in the middle of down town Boston like a big wall that almost blocks one side of the city from the other. Have one entrance that almost acts as a airport terminal where you have to show what you are bringing from one side of the wall to the other
Nothing in particular, but nuka world seems to me packed with little spots to build in.
if you do inside a building you should do the secret hidden room on top of Diamond City.
Also an idea for a build would be a railroad sniper coms tower in central Boston up real high
You've gotta turn that door around, you know I'm right
It would be cool to see some builds in nukaworld.
Maybe inside the space ride thingy, og it's possible. (I forget what it's called 😅)
Or in the zoo area perhaps. Idk
Anywhere within the themepark would be cool really, And a great place for those little setpiece builds 😊
this looks amazing
How about JF Sebastian's makeshift Synth workshop in some cool little corner of Boston.
Ghouls would be fine living there.
You should build a public restroom somewhere, y'know, since your settlers don't have anywhere else to go.
Man, I have to use this mod soon.
I love builds in the glowing sea! I build there myself, highly inspired from Darth Xions hole Settlement there, which is really cool! Is that a music bed? Change confuses and frightens me!!
The destroyed red rocket in the glowing sea
It would be cool if you did a settlement in one of the subway tunnels
Not a fan of the new music, the soft ambiant moody tunes you had before worked better with watching someone in the process of building something.
Agree to disagree
oh sure, maybe it worked better for me as his videos usually release late at night and so the previous mood was just nicer to my ears, its no big deal anyways
No. It is a big deal. AGREE. TO. DISAGREE.
GunslingerPlays I didn't notice the music at all until I read this comment. I would like you to make caravan wagons still.
Nice Build. It's a Small one..U should Put NPC super Mutant Hounds for Guards there.
Love the video, unsure about music
have you done any vertical builds yet? it'd be neat if you built something high!
WHERES
THE
40K
CONTENT?!?!
delayed/postponed - mentioned that a few vids back. I'm trying new things again soon.
YES FINALLY A GLOWING SEA BUILDING YES OMG FUCK YES YES HOLLY SHIT. (I really like the glowing sea) as someone who LOVES the children of Adam and all things radiation I'm so happy
I would like to see a settlement of Mr Handy's. I know grey garden but it's not very exciting.
@norespawns
Hey Davey,
Have a mod suggestion for you, to help with WA. A portable chem station you can carry around in your inventory. Instant access to settlement supplies.
It's from Astlem, author of Workshop Decorations Pack, you use that mod. Anyway, it's called Reusable Camping.
If you don't have it already installed and you're interested, here's the link:
bethesda.net/en/mods/fallout4/mod-detail/3916231
If you do have it installed, go to one of your chem stations. If you have the necessary perks, you should be able to craft a portable chem station. It'll be under "Camping". You can also craft portable weapons and armor stations. It'll be in your weapons which you throw like a grenade, to which it'll spawn a chem station. Hit or shoot it to put it back in your inventory.
I already tested it, freemaker works with the mod. 👍
Absolute power corrupts absolutely ;-)
I'd wish i had time to build in fallout 4 again. Got so many ideas for builds with the settlement anywhere mod.
But instead of creating stuff in Fallout i get to create the enviorment in my own games.
Some ideas for you mate.
Indoors Apartments, Rooftops(only available through powerarmor or leet Jet skills).
Theres a hideout under the bridge at Coastal Cottage. It's infested with ghouls but if you don't mind those and/or can get rid of them indefenetly. (preview.ibb.co/d9Ysgw/Hideout.png < link to a image with a circle of where it is)
Also under bridges in general or ontop of the highways
Hermit treehouse near Murkwater, or Salem.
Put a workbench anywhere else in nuka world
Woo! That shout out though :p
Subway build
Did I spot a poopknife by the "outhouse"?!
Can u build something using submarine parts please?
I just started playing on Xbox and got a mod that expands settlement borders and it gave me all of Jamaica plains to build in so I'm kind of intimidated with that to do so I'm wondering what you would do with so much space and a whole town to work with?
king doms I'd make that the major hub and make it a fortress for that part of the map for the MM or the nuka world radiers
shcsny I'm doing a raider playthrough so it'll have to be raider bartertown
Build wooden shacks on the rooftops
Build it up as a new "faction" with their own barracks and trading Outpost on the rooftops.
So good!
There a mod that makes your character in to a ghoul maybe you could build this for a play-though.
Do a workshop house build at the Peabody house in the south
Build some storage and put nothing in it. It's in the glowing sea and will generate random loot.
Genius!
Metro 2033 build please? I mean, the Vault 88 tunnels are perfect.
Build in one of the malls
cool af
could u build at the lonely church
Build at university point next please
Fire Station/Firehouse PLEASE
GRAND
what about a shipping container village
Could you place which mods you use in each video so we know what you use
As I want to know where you got plains from
video from a few months back that shows every mod I use: ruclips.net/video/LdFIbLZFlkw/видео.html
You should make a little war outpost on a bridge or sum
This might be available to you lot? If not, maybe reach out to the mod-author? It doesn't cost anything to ask...
rd.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/19663?tab=description
i love it
Could you do a ps4 must have video please :)... I'm on ps4 and I don't know what to get with limited space
For mods I mean
I did a video on it a few months ago - the list is more or less unchanged: ruclips.net/video/LdFIbLZFlkw/видео.html
Cool thanks man :)
Is this a settlement in glowing sea??
How Do I get those on Xbox one I want some of those parts
If you want the plane parts you would want the USO mod
