- We journeyed home from Africa on Qatar Airways in their incredible QSuite. It made a 17 hour flight with 3 kids not just survivable, BUT ENJOYABLE!

We ourselves haven’t been “home” in Colorado for 2 years so we went to surprise our family! We flew to Colorado to see family for a few days and then took off in search of SNOW! Boy, did we find it in Lake Tahoe! We enjoyed a wonderful and cozy Christmas as a family. We are so grateful for this precious time together with our young children and we will cherish these memories forever. We hope you had a wonderful Christmas and holiday season. We have more snowy Lake Tahoe adventures ahead!

You're raising some sweet & grateful children. It's refreshing to see they appreciate the little things that have more meaning. Something as simple as cotton candy, marshmallows or homemade jewelry is just as appreciated as the walkie talkies or the shaved ice machine.
Love that they say thank you, Merry Christmas & give hugs after each gift is opened. It's so beautiful!

The longing for a family as this doesn’t even make me jealous or angry that I had the total opposite in my life. It’s impossible to feel anything but love while watch this bucket list family engage together. 💝
You all do an amazing job keeping it simple and focus on memories over stuff, you could easily go overboard and spoil those kids but the memories and family time is worth so much more! Great job raising such kind, humble and thankful kiddos. Merry Christmas

I lost my mom in November 2019, so I can kind of guess how you're feeling. I hope you find time, between the tears, to smile and remember all the love and joy she brought to your life and I'm sure the rest of your family's lives as well. You are in my thoughts and hopefully our mothers are meeting each other in the great beyond, becoming friends and watching over us. Lots of love to you during this holiday season!

A wonderful family. Seems like yesterday they were little kids, Cali not even born yet and now look at them! I love how every day Cali looks more & more like his brother. Love how they weren't showered with expensive gifts & how they were happy to get each one. Most of all it shows that the kids really love & like each other, they are not fighting or trying to out do each other. Good kids, good parents.
The kids are so grateful for anything they get, saying thank you and hugging who the gift was from every present they got! Raised so well and are so lucky to have the life they have, and they know it.

Despite having all the money in the world and being easily able to spoil their kids rotten, I love how they choose not to. These kids seem truly humble and appreciative of the gifts they received. Great job mom and dad.

I absolutely loved this video. While you guys were surrounded by the tree opening presents, I started to cry. 😭 You guys didn’t have a ton of presents under the tree, yet you were all SO THANKFUL and SO HAPPY for what you did receive. Even though some of the gifts were small like the water bottle sticker Dorthy received, or the candy, but you guys were all so appreciative, hugging each other and saying, “Merry Christmas.” It truly reminds you what the season is REALLY all about. It’s not about big lavish gifts, or who gets more presents, but it is about FAMILY. What a wholesome, beautiful video. ❤️

I live far away from family and barely got to see any pics and only one short video of anything, and no calls to get to talk to anyone. Getting to see yours and especially the kids' the night before, then waking, and the present opening made my day so much brighter. Brought back lots of memories. Thanks for sharing. Truly love how you raise your kids! I Traveled the world before kids. I worked for the airlines and when I clocked out I would just hop on a plane and sleep at airports and would arrive to work on the plane I would be sending out 😂 I truly thought I was going to be like you guys and then I had kids and was like well home seems like a nice place and haven’t been out of the country since. Kinda sad that it never worked out for our family to travel with kids but I am definitely now a home body and I love living my other life through you guys! Maybe someday I’ll join the airlines again and travel with my kids but until then we have plans on a homestead and raising our family that way. ♥️

Ahhh, welcome to Tahoe!!! When I saw the amount of snow I was like, “hmm, maybe they’re here!” Can’t believe it, so cool that you guys are here! This December actually broke the record for snowiest December in Tahoe, beating 1970!
