Leila!! I wanted to share my recent milestones with you. I was inspired to get a another job, it not only brings me fulfillment since I work with the elderly, but it also gives me some extra money to put towards my goals. Yesterday I fully funded my emergency fund and now it's like I'm breathing so much better! My next goal is to tackle sinking funds and save for a car. Thank you for your consistent uploads bc I watch it to motivate myself. Sending you love!

The amount of financial content I currently consume is staggering. I’ve been consumer and car debt-free for several years. I paid off my house last July. Now am rabidly stashing away funds for retirement. I turned 60 in January and would like to retire as quickly as I can. In hindsight, it would have been great to slow down some of the payoff and ramp up investments earlier, But that wasn’t clear to me at the time. Of course that’s how hindsight works. 😂😂😂
Great video! I would also be interested in celebrating the wins of some of your financial coaching clients… only if they were comfortable with you sharing, of course.

Glad you're tackling everything now! It sounds like you're on a great path.
I would love to highlight some client wins! I'll have to ask them 😊

I watcha lot of financial content. Even while I do my workout 💪🏾 at home. I am so disciplined that I am on track this year to max out my Roth 401k and Roth IRA. Fingers crossed 🤞🏾 that I do it. 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾

I’m fairly disciplined with money, my main issue is food. Even when i grocery shop I get junk, and sometimes I just don’t feel like deciding on a meal plan, going grocery shopping, then cooking, which leads to dining out instead. So much effort lol. Ugh it’s very frustrating.

I struggle with the same thing and giving! Sometimes I over give in the moment.

Sit down and plan your meals for the week... then make a list and stick to it... also pick a day and batch cook-cook 3 or 4 meals all at once that way if you come home too tired to cook you have food to just heat and eat... just some suggestions I do 😊

Most people struggle with it! Honestly I eat the same thing every single day (meal prep) lol
It doesn't bother me but I know some people get bored, but it helps me eliminate any decision making around food

Great info. Subbed 💛 Do you have a video on all the finance podcasts you recommend? If not, can you please do one? I searched your channel but didn’t see one. Thanks! (Btw, I am a fellow Georgian. We are in Gwinnett County.)

Thank you so much! I was raised in Gwinnett 😊
My #1 favorite podcast is ChooseFI...I suggest just listening from the beginning!
I also love The Money Guy, How to Money, and Bigger Pockets Money (though with BPM I would usually skip the ones that focused heavily on real estate)!

So I already take frequent breaks from social media. I don't even keep Instagram or TikTok on my phone, I just reinstall them when I want to post and then uninstall again. My question is, how do you promote your RUclips channel and online business without social media at all? I just started vlogging myself and I feel like when I don't post the video everywhere, no one knows that I posted it and I don't get any views. Do people usually find you through your blog or somewhere else? Thanks :)

In the past I have used IG to promote my videos but I don't know that it really helped that much lol. Now most of my traffic just comes from people subscribed/the yt algorithm.
I've never been good about marketing my stuff honestly because of this 😆

I’ve been slipping off a lot lately so I’m glad I watched your video because it reminded that regardless of the set backs I’m still trying to get back into a good routine and I still value my view on getting out of debt. So, thank you! 🙏
