- Voted as the best tourist railroad ride in America, the Cumbres and Toltec Scenic Railroad boasts some fantastic scenery and amazing narrow gauge steam locomotives and cars from the Denver and Rio Grande Western Railroad. Climb aboard as we follow a recreated freight train west from Antonito, CO to Chama, NM.
Great video! There are precious little steam locomotives that haul freight as most of them haul passengers nowadays.
Thank you!
Great Video! I enjoyed the Sound of 463 chugging down the track.
Thanks Alan!
Enjoy this so much! Thank you!
Thank you Brian!

[HD] MBTA Videos they're actually called whistles

Gorgeous video from beginning to end! Some great points of interest 5:25 the shape of the rock and geography and, 6:00 the locomotive existing the tunnel, the variation of the color of the mountain side. Overall beautiful sound and videograghy Mike.

No problem! Glad you liked it!
nice video, very well made. 🚂
Thank you!
Great video of 463. 👍👍👍
I like the video
Thank you Fernando!
It all looks like an easy freight train I can create in HOn3 scale by Blackstone Models. They have D&RGS K-27 463. Also C-19 D&RGS 346 that runs at the Colorado Railroad Museum in Golden CO as well as RGS 41 at Knott's Berry Farm. Blackstone Modes will come out in March 2017 K-28 and K-36 Mikados. They are making 6 of which run on the Durango and Silverton Railroad. K-28 473, 476, and 478. K-36 road numbers include 481 and my favorite 486.
We love trains. Great video. We have subscribed
Thank you guys!
Nice video👍👍👍🙂👍
Thanks!
Great video, Mike!
Thank you!
Great footage coaster!
Thanks!
Awesome
Thanks!
I wish I could visit this place... Curse me for living on the east coast!
It is worth the visit!
I wish you also had film of D&RGS C-18 consolidation 315 hauling freight. The C&T had like a narrow gauge reunion with 315 and 463.
That may be coming soon!
463 I love you!
More trains await in the cumbles and toltec senic railroad on friday!
Later at 7pm we watch it. Are you two?
who thinks 463 & 464 should do a double header?
I gotta model this in HOn3. To bad they don't have HOn3 tank cars.
I'm guessing this is a real freight train because I don't think cumber and Toltec scenic RR has diesel engines
What Camera do you youse to record
Canon XA10 and XA25
4:29 why didn't they use an authentic Ro Grande coach instead of one of their own replicas?
6:41 nice blowdown!
Unfortunately, the railroad doesn't currently have any authentic DRGW passenger cars that are in service.
Thanks!
you were in Colorado and didn't call or visit me for my 17 years and counting of experience hmph I'm insulted lol wink wink laugh smiling sarcastically
Next time! Thanks for the comment!
Nice video however the clicking of the cameras was obnoxious.
Isn't this railroad a narrow gauge American railroad?
yes used to be a part of the Denver and Rio Grande system
The intro on this video should go away ASAP
This Friday's video is the last time you'll see it!
