- In Lok Sabha, BJP MP Anurag Thakur says, 'we are all concerned with what has recently happened in our neighbouring country, Bangladesh. All political parties, in one voice, have said that we should be concerned about our people who are there. PM Modi tweeted and congratulated the PM of the Interim Government but he also said that peace, security and development of Hindus and minorities there should be ensured. But unfortunately, when the LoP and the Congress chief tweeted and congratulated him, they did not mention anything about Hindus there. They did not mention anything about security of minorities. What was the compulsion that they could not speak about the security of the Hindus and minorities there? They spoke a lot about Gaza but you do not speak about it.'
