We had wheels to spin before every encounter that told us which type we had to catch next. This was a pretty fun challenge I think you guys will really enjoy lol

It's pretty easy to miss mons in these challenges. They've missed pokemon before. It just happens.
I missed it too, had to go back to look. It's definitely there, but in a passing glance I think it can be easily missed

Idea for another video: Only catch pokemon from certain generations.
You have a wheel with each gen on it, you get 3 spins, whichever gen you land on you have to catch 2 pokemon from that gen.
Example, if you land on gen 1 then you could get charizard and Bulbasaur.
Or do a generation lock-out. Catch the first fully-evolved pokémon seen from every gen.
I love this idea!

Love it guys, you should do a spin wheel challenge where it will decide what region you can catch Pokémon in and then fight it out in showdown

A wheel of different challenges you’ve done on the past and you both spin and and build your team based on what you get. Like one of you may get an all ground type team and the other gets something like when you can on,y do the random encounters team

This kinda opens up some options for.other kinds of challenges. For example, like the wheel, you guys could take the numbers of the pokedex, spin a random number, and then you have to go and catch that pokemon. So like if you roll a 1, you have to go get grookey and put it on your team. For this wheel challenge you could take.it a step further and spin it twice to get both types for your pokemon, and you have to track it down. This way you get an even more randomized typing process.
Always amazing videos from you two. I'd love to see some more games besides sword/sheild, like maybe try and do a platinum or maybe a sun and moon challenge. I love these ones, but I'd love to see some newer pokemon on the teams rather than the same ones. Y'all could also do more of the pixelmon stuff too and thatd be pretty cool.

You guys should do a Super Effective challenge. Coin flip for who goes first, but one player catches the first fully evolved Pokémon they see. The second player then can only catch types that are super effective against it and the process repeats back and forth based on the most recently caught Pokémon’s weaknesses. It’d just be cool seeing you guys set up a good final battle going into it at least knowing what types you’d be up against

All the randomizer had to do was give Chillin ONE psychic move, and he would have won. Confusion would have been all he needed.
Couldn't he have sacrificed Lugia off then swapped into Glastier to get the glacial lance off? (I don't really play Pokemon much, sorry if it's wrong)
@@saltywynaut8908 tbh, I prob would have just started with that Lugia and just tried to do the most it can. Or save it as a sacrifice, like if he needs a switch, but doesnt want one of his better pokemon to eat a hit on entry. Chillin has a tendancy to start with his best mons, which leaves him with crappy options at the end, and GG does the opposite.

With how easy things are in Sword/Shield, I wouldn't be surprised if it has an almost 100% catch rate anyway. I suspect that they boosted catch rates as well.

“1st and last letter catches” Use a wheel to get your first letter so if you get A you could go get arcanine then you have to use the last letter so E to catch the next Pokémon so Entei then it would be I could get Ivysaur then you’d use R for raikou etc

GG ultimately won, but there wasn’t any risk in using Dragontail against Glastrier, and I think would have been the smarter play. Even if he didn’t take it down, it would have swapped out to Chillin’s last mon, with the knowledge you could take out on the final turn since Naganadel was going to out speed a Glastrier with no speed stat and virtually no HP left.
