You're playing on the Redux version of both 2033 and Last Light, which gave both games a graphics update. This might be why you find both games too similar, as the original graphics jump from original 2033 to Last Light was quite impressive for the time.
The Redux version also changes a lot of things beyond graphics about 2033 as well. Making it play much closer to last light. Honestly I always preferred the original to the Redux version due to control scheme on PC as well as some changes to levels and such. Sadly it's quite difficult to find on PC now if you didn't already own it before Redux came out.
Coincidentally I just finished playing Metro 2033 on Xbox 360 then moved onto Last Light on 360, and I'd agree, the graphics bump was big time. And for a ten year old game on even older hardware, I'm kind of amazed that my 360 can render graphics like Last Light.
@@thecursed01 They really tightened up the combat in Last Light and from what I can tell 2033 Redux, because just having played through the original, I can say that the combat was frustratingly sloppy to the point that it damn near ruined the experience for me.
In the DLC Heavy Squad, you actually play as a soldier of the 4th Reich, not the Red Line (hence the name of the achievement), and it happens in the same tunnel as the Frontline level in Metro 2033. In Kshatriya DLC (you actually pronounced it right on the first try), you actually find the documents about Metro-2 and not the D6. Other than that great video.
Games need to stop with the “complete rhe game on this mode that doesn’t allow u to save” achievements, cuz those r the ones that make me say yeah I’ll never ever platinum this game - outer worlds, fallout 4, metro exodus.. all these games have these modes as requirements for the platinum and it’s just bullshit if u ask me.. apparently even jazzy never ended up doing the exodus trophies huh?
I've never played any of the Metro games but seeing your completions of the games is making me want to pick them up one day, congrats on getting this one down!
As someone who stumbled across one video months ago, im always very happy to see another Jazzy video now, easily one of my favorites to just turn on and enjoy. Always relaxing and entertaining, especially when fury is felt towards uncreative achievement names. (Looking at you Bioshock)
Last Light is genuinely one of my favorite games. The amount of detail and interaction in every environment is incredible for a game of this time. Kind of sad that they took the Pacifist achievement out though.
I think that it wouldn't make sense after the canonic ending. Like, yeah, you chose to not kill any humans now, but how would you explain the literal genocide you committed a while ago?
Fair thought, but i think it's 100% fair to leave it out, sure i DONT want to kill people for no reason, but most of the enemies are increeeedibly racist warmonglers, so... :']
@@frankyhorn2475 pretty late but I got pacifist on the 360 and the game chose certain points you were allowed to including that scene. I guess I can see why they took it out because it's not true pacifist but still
Dlc’s where you play as other characters throughout the story doing their own things is such a good idea. It really helps with the world building, I loved it when the did that for then missions in the resident evil remakes as well.
if this were not the redux version there would also be the shadow ranger achievement, which is the biggest pain in the ass. you have to get through the entire game without killing a single human enemy except in like 3 sections where it's unavoidable. accidently killing an enemy voids the achievement, and restarting a checkpoint doesn't help, you have to start the whole playthrough from scratch.
Hell yeah! Another Jazzy video! Love your content man, I’ve watched every single video on the Chanel and love every new upload on the channel! Keep up the great work! ❤
If there’s one thing I can’t get over in this game, it’s the super weird sex scene in the hospital. There’s even a guard on the opposite side of the room that is watching. The same sex scene that’s also in the movie “enemy at the gates”, everyone around and next to them is dying but they still decide to bone
I played the whole game using stealth once... İt was not fun. So when i played it couple of days ago i did all those sections by running and punching everyone in the face, it was much more enjoyable and was easier to do then ressetting everytime you were seen.
I'm super excited for metro exodus, it's another step up in graphics, game play and story but a much larger step up. It has a very dishonored vibe to it as well
I'm currently doing my maybe 10th playthrough of Metro: Last Light but this time playing the original version and going for all the achievements. It has 70 achievements, some of which are more complex than the Redux ones. Last Light remains one of my all-time favourite games.
You're lucky they removed the 'Musician' achievement from the Redux. I think it's going to take a third playthrough for me to get it, as unlike the other collectibles, you can't just reload chapters to get it.
12:34 Interesting. For me, nosalises generally develop this really weird mutation that makes them really resistent to bullets, to the point where they need multiple headshots to kill
Well done. I really liked 2033 as well as Exodus, but I think Last Light is the star of the show. The mechanics often feel a bit clunky and oldschool, but at least for me, in a charming way that I really enjoyed.
Yo you should try "Do not feed the monkeys" either the 1st one or the 2099 version, its quite a good puzzle game and Ill think you'll enjoy trying to solve how to get the achievements, it took me quite a while to get all of them but I enjoyed it!
Seeing Jazzy do this Trilogy and me replaying the legendary edition recently I really want to see him try Mass Effect. In theory it's not that hard with only a few bothersome trophies. That said good luck with ME2 on insanity
You did this so inefficiently. You acknowledge you’re locked out of good ending but spared Pavel, only to have to replay the chapter and kill him. Then you went and did all the moral actions (be undetected in levels, release prisoners etc) right before replaying for the good ending. THEN went and redid chapters for diary pages instead of just getting them all with a guide on your next playthrough.
I just found out that you could carry a third weapon in that game. I always played on the highest difficulty, where you're limited to carrying only two weapons xD
I really enjoyed Last Light and I agree that it was better than 2023 as I thought the characters this time around were much more engaging and I actually liked Pavel as a side villain. I have almost all of the achievements except for the Tower Pack achievement, as that one is tough as nails (I can't even get past the human fight I swear they are meth heads with aimbot).
It's not our explosions that destroyed the plane, this plane was destroyed because of nuclear bomb that exploded in Moscow 21 years before I don't know why, but quite a lot of people who play this game and played 2033 before think that Artyom is the one who killed passengers of this plane What would a passenger plane do 20 years after apocalypse? It's obvious it was a vision from the day the world ended
Any chance you'd try an RTS city-ish builder game called "Before we leave"? I've recently started playing it and have been very surprised by the length of it and the achievements do feel like they are given for when I make it to a milestone or do something that takes a bit of work to do.
It’s a change up from the games you usually play, but maybe terraria? It’s an incredible game, and I’m my opinion, so much more than 2d terraria, with an absolute ton of achievements.
Exodus isn’t hard game wise it’s so sensitive to get the good ending. I thought I did everything right the first time and had to do it again and missed one little thing and was so upset about it I played a third time to get the good ending because I wasn’t satisfied not getting the good ending. I beat the game the 3rd time in record time of 2 nights probably 4-6 hours each night. Idk why but I can’t play games during the day and will stay up till 6 am on days I don’t have anything going on.
Actually, it's the easiest one so far for getting 'moral points'. Doesn't matter how you do the Volga, so long as you stealth the church, then stealth the bridge, without killing. If you kill in the church, you can remedy this by saving the villagers held captive in the valley. The main bit however is being silent on the bridge. This shows the guy that you genuinely just want to leave. The rest of the game is like this, where you have to do one important thing each level to get the good ending. Much easier than little moral points here and there.
Here's a challenge for you jazzy and itll really test you, The Yakuza Series, all of them require you to be pure 100% completionist when it comes to these challenges.
Well, you missed the hardest achievement of the series by doing redux. The "Complete Edition" has an insane achivement that people still aren't 100% sure who you're allowed to kill, as it's only killing all required humans, and leaving every other human alive.
Do you plan on doing any RPG achievements anytime soon? I know many of them are like 1 month long to complete, but the one i had in mind is like 35-36 hours to beat casually; the game is CrisTales. It's an adorable art style RPG with a decent story overall, the achievements however need some conditions to fulfill; if you do take this challenge, do the PS4 version since the Epic version doesn't synch correctly. sorry for the bother.
Kshatriya is pronounced shut-ree-yuh. It refers to the “warrior class” within the older hindu caste system. Ironically western texts don’t note that it’s considered being lower class and is generally not a good thing to mention

Man that was a fun DLC

Honestly it's way easier. Take it from a person who got them all in Exodus but doesn't even think about doing the same for 2033 and Last Light
