As a long-life Slayer fan (I’m 57) I don’t understand why some people are pissing on Kerry for doing his thing. Just enjoy it or don’t. It’s that simple. If he wants to play Slayer songs that he helped write just enjoy it because other than a few select shows this year you’re not gonna get it. Personally I’ve seen Slayer w/ the original guys several times in the late 80’s and the current line-up. I’ve enjoyed them all. Just enjoy what you get because trust me, it’ll all be over soon and you won’t get the chance. Thanks for posting! Can’t wait to see KK’s band live this year.
People are “pissing on Kerry” because he’s an obnoxious, arrogant blowhard, for starters. He’s also made clear his intention to milk his former band’s legacy for all it’s worth. His album was hyped up so much, and a mediocre, one-dimensional bore. The guy has invited every bit of the criticism he receives.
