Feels like yesterday playing with friends for countless hours until the sunrise. Turning 19 now wish I could have just one more day in my childhood. Life moves way too fast. Whoever is still in highschool and in your childhood enjoy every last second you have. It goes by too quick.
I just turned 18 (49 minutes ago). This game is one of a few games that defined the better half of my childhood. I remember the game had just entered Alpha when I first heard about it at school. The seniors were playing this brand-new game on the school computers, and me and a couple of others in the first grade stared across the room at the computer screen lit up with the vibrant grass of Minecraft alpha. Since then, Minecraft has been a staple of my childhood. I didn't have access to it very often at home, but when I did, I was almost able to enter a different world. One that didn't have the abusive stepfather. Or the beatings. One that felt like a safe place for a few moments. And in the morning, I'll be able to see my mother outside of supervised visits for the first time since I was 12. Things have been much better for me since I left that home, but my mother was always the hope that kept me from breaking her heart by ending it all. I always remember my time playing when it was just grass and cobble, then to 128x128 worlds if I remember correctly, then day and night was added, the Xbox360 tutorial worlds, time with friends, ORIGINAL 2010-2011 servers (only one I recall playing was 2b2t since it was in my old computer’s multiplayer list), seeing herobrine join and leave the game (lol), playing factions with friends, factions alone, and finally returning into the anarchy community with Constantiam. About two months ago I managed to migrate my 2010 legacy account which is now an alt for various uses on the server, alone with an account of mine and of a friend’s which I rotate around when playing. I’ll never be able to have the original experience I had back in 2011-2012, but anarchy has been the most fun and unique thing I’ve tried since starting

In middle school I used to run the game just to have the audio playing in the background. Homework, cleaning, or just vibing with friends, it always fit the mood. Today, 27, married, two kids, I find myself escaping to this video at 1am. I’m a happy father/husband but I long for that “naive” happiness. That ignorance of the state of the world. I long for that constant frame of curiosity and creativity. So quickly we all wanted 18/adulthood. A lot of us left this ghost behind as we departed childhood. It’s something that we can now only see as a distant lighthouse. Occasionally sending back a reminder of what was left behind. Someday that lighthouse will fade beyond the horizon. The echo of what was left will meld with the sounds of our current lives.
I’m 25 and I started playing Minecraft in middle school. It had just been released and I remember the game being so Barron and empty at first but it still had a certain charm. I can remember not understanding the game mechanics yet and I tried to grow an apple tree by removing a dirt block in the ground throwing the apple in it then placing the dirt block back. Simpler times. 💙

I hope you are doing better now. I'm just 14 but I feel nostalgia and sadness a lot when compared to others. The countless hours I played with my friends from 2020 -2021 October and 2022 summer and even this summer makes me super nostalgic. I just wish if I could go back in that time, I would tell myself to be grateful because I would never get that chance again. I'm dealing through a tough time right now with family, and those friends I played with turned out to be the ones who manipulated me, but still I have a special place for all of them. I just wish I could get a backup of all the previous worlds and play this masterpiece and just explored my already explored little world where imagination came to life

It won't be, but it's still very fun. I just played Minecraft for the first time in like a year or more yesterday and explored a world I'd practically forgotten. MC will always be a core memory in my heart. I love everything about it despite not having friends to play with when I was younger, Minecraft was my gateway and my comfort for the longest time. Just listening to the music makes me want to go back to those days.. I never felt sad, had no responsibilities, and always looked forward for another day of playing games. I originally started playing minecraft in 2014. Now it's 2024, and I am still playing to this day! Whether it is survival or creative, I still play. The game has meant alot to me and saved me from the abuse I had dealt with from my father. i remember late summer nights, my legs perpetually criss-crossed, me sitting right in front of the tv exploring the world and the depths of the caves. forgetting to check the time, or even blink. those hot, humid nights of hours playing quickly turned into waking up to the white snowy mornings. my legs tingling from laying on one another for so long. i remember those days. it’s been years since i’ve felt like that. and regardless of how cynical i can get, this unique and fantastical game eases my aged soul. it’s spectacular the music alone conjures so many memories and emotions for me. minecraft has irrevocably defined my childhood moments and i am grateful for it
I’ve been dealing with a lot of chronic pain that keeps me awake at night. Minecraft has been such a place for me the past decade, even though I have grown up-it will forever hold a place in my heart. Such memories… this music, combined with the rain… breathing in tune with the beat. Gives some sense of peace during this tough spot in my journey.

im 22 years old, I remember first playing this game when it came out on xbox the memories ive had, the sleepovers, the thrill of wanting too build the craziest stuff. when I was 12 or 13 one of my friends died in a house fire. I really felt down, I got back on our old Minecraft world we use too play and found comfort remembering all the times we use too do crazy things too this day I play it weather too ease my stress, my depression or just relive. Minecraft isn't just a game Minecraft is therapy, and ill never forget it.

Its amazing that one game became so much for so many. I remember when i used to play Minecraft. whether it was with my friends or me joining my sister and her friends playing survival and getting carried or just little me playing solo creative having a blast enchanting a sword with every enchantment not knowing what they do to make myself wildly overpowered to just one shot things. or sitting their for hours and just building anything that came to mind whether it be towns, exquisite houses, statues of characters, or just random things that were thought up on the spot... its been a long time since i last played but those memories will always stay with me. I'm reading so many comments of fellow minecraft players who too are leaving behind their childhood for adulthood. I'll never leave this game behind... It was the thing that brought me joy when I was 5. It was the escape from my parents arguing. It was an escape when dad left. It was an escape when I fell into depression. When I felt all alone. And I was. Building alone. Cities, planes, camps. All for me. Nobody would ever see them. The only thing that I truly hate about minecraft, is how lonely it is to play for me... It's heartbreaking. I don't want to relive those days but... damn do I miss the feeling. The music always brings me back. It's kinda scary but comforting at the same time. Little update: So much changed. I haven't been in any comment sections in so long but I feel like this is the best one to do this. Life changed so much I barely recognize it, I finally found myself (who I am, etc.) I managed to get away from a toxic relationship and I have stable income now. I'm an adult now but I still feel like that same kid playing Minecraft on my xbox 360 looking at the new Aquatic update. I don't think I ever moved on from that because those memories are still fresh in my mind while everything else is a blur. I was diagnosed with DID and memory loss and every day is a blur and I never remember anything but those memories, they always stayed.
So many memories...so many incredible times..gone. Friendships came and went here and there. Servers changing or dissapearing left and right. If only i had been smarter with my choices...I wouldve come much further than now. Still, I am glad I can play such a majestic game.
One of my favorite memories was playing the PE edition of minecraft with my brother and dad when I was about 7-8 years old, and now that I'm off at college, having something that reminds me of those simpler and fun times really means a lot. Thank you for making this video.

imagine gathering wood, building cube wooden house walking miles for structures, experiencing different biomes, climbing jungle trees with vines, waiting for your beef the cook in the furnace, searching caves for diamonds and finding lava pools, scouring the world, taming wolfs and horses, jumping in obsidian portals going to the scorching nether in search of amazing fortress's, finding ancient structures cover in vines, running away from the with and chugging golden apples, going to bed and being able to sleep instantly, constructing devices to guide your way to ancient structures buried deep in the world, jumping in with full diamond armor, a bow and arrow, a sword, and a crap ton of hope into a beatiful portal with the devices controlling it, killing a powerful and feared dragon, taking its egg as a trophy, scouring a void with small islands using teleportation balls so you can get a brand new pair of wings, running from tall black men in fear while they angrily chase you, trying the find the best enchantment for your gear, to making a city for the occasional person who drops by, making red stone device and beautiful houses and structures impossible in real life, and finally, to getting snuck up by a creeper and hearing that "ssssssss" sound, by the. your heart drops when you died and you are never seen again, hiding in the storage of a 9 gigabyte application to soon be deleted, and the computer destroyed. If you read the entire thing then props to you but it would feel amazing to be steve in minecraft. the memories, 🥹 the laughs, 😂 the raging, 😡 the cries, 😢the "Let me finish placing the one block, mom! 😭 the realization a creepers is about to explode behind you,😳 the mindlessly playing questioning the point of life,😐. I remember when i first heard of this game I played it on the Xbox 360 with my cousin or sister. I always sat in front of the tv playing the original tutorial but now they updated it so much those memories seem so unreal. I miss the old Minecraft the calming music, the original animals, original landscapes, free texture packs and skins. The old games were fun. But now all those memories just seem like a dream. I’ll always miss the flat roofed houses,running around the world without a care, and role playing with texture packs. The best memory I’ve had is just sitting in front of the tv tears rolling down my face and hypnotized by the calming music. We’ll miss you original minecraft☺️🫶

I'm remember when 5 years ago, I started playing Minecraft on my phone, it was absolutely classic, I only used to download some maps & mods/addons, copying some buildings by TSMC even some fake Portal Tutorials... These good ol' days are just Nostalgic & amazing.
Minecraft has a reason to be so popular, whether old version or new it's created memories for everyone who had the joy of playing it. Nothing will feel more nostalgic than hopping on an old world and looking back at what you accomplished over the many happy years playing minecraft. And as a personal note minecraft was always there when I moved from friends or someone I knew passed away. No matter what happened I could always just go to minecraft and out of the real world. And it made life bearable in the not so enjoyable times.

Im graduating high school in less than 48 hours, and on Monday I'll be 18 1/2 years old to the day. Like Minecraft, life has changed. But, every small alteration is an integral part of you, and what you do. Even if its a change for the worse on your end and everything seems to be going well for everybody else, do remember that its okay for others to be happy, and that it'll eventually come back around so you can be happy again. In middle school I used to run the game just to have the audio playing in the background. Homework, cleaning, or just vibing with friends, it always fit the mood. Today, 27, married, two kids, I find myself escaping to this video at 1am. I’m a happy father/husband but I long for that “naive” happiness. That ignorance of the state of the world. I long for that constant frame of curiosity and creativity. So quickly we all wanted 18/adulthood. A lot of us left this ghost behind as we departed childhood. It’s something that we can now only see as a distant lighthouse. Occasionally sending back a reminder of what was left behind. Someday that lighthouse will fade beyond the horizon. The echo of what was left will meld with the sounds of our current lives.

I’m 25 and I started playing Minecraft in middle school. It had just been released and I remember the game being so Barron and empty at first but it still had a certain charm. I can remember not understanding the game mechanics yet and I tried to grow an apple tree by removing a dirt block in the ground throwing the apple in it then placing the dirt block back.

I hope you are doing better now. I'm just 14 but I feel nostalgia and sadness a lot when compared to others. The countless hours I played with my friends from 2020 -2021 October and 2022 summer and even this summer makes me super nostalgic. I just wish if I could go back in that time, I would tell myself to be grateful because I would never get that chance again. MC will always be a core memory in my heart. I love everything about it despite not having friends to play with when I was younger, Minecraft was my gateway and my comfort for the longest time. Just listening to the music makes me want to go back to those days.. I never felt sad, had no responsibilities, and always looked forward for another day of playing games. Now, I’m stuck with piles of work and exams to do and future responsibilities thrown my way, making me lose my time of playing games but listening to this now, just makes me want to cry it all out. I originally started playing minecraft in 2014. Now it's 2024, and I am still playing to this day! Whether it is survival or creative, I still play. The game has meant alot to me and saved me from the abuse I had dealt with from my father. I am now doing a whole lot better, and If I could go ahead and thank either c418 or the original developers of minecraft, I would. I will never forget this game as it helped me.

i remember late summer nights, my legs perpetually criss-crossed, me sitting right in front of the tv exploring the world and the depths of the caves. forgetting to check the time, or even blink. those hot, humid nights of hours playing quickly turned into waking up to the white snowy mornings. my legs tingling from laying on one another for so long. i remember those days. it’s been years since i’ve felt like that. and regardless of how cynical i can get, this unique and fantastical game eases my aged soul. it’s spectacular the music alone conjures so many memories and emotions for me. minecraft has irrevocably defined my childhood moments and i am grateful for it

I’ve been dealing with a lot of chronic pain that keeps me awake at night. Minecraft has been such a place for me the past decade, even though I have grown up-it will forever hold a place in my heart. Such memories… this music, combined with the rain… breathing in tune with the beat. Gives some sense of peace during this tough spot in my journey.
Minecraft is a wonderful game. I never thought one game would impact so many peoples lives but it does. I miss my youth, the fun times with my dad on pocket edition. I wish I could go back when school was easier and I didn’t have to work. Where life was happy and pure. I miss it now, I wish just for a day I could relive the magic I once felt.
It’s crazy to think that I’m turning 21 in a week and I used to share so many childhood memories on worlds with friends I’m no longer associated with. Thank you Minecraft for bringing people together even if it’s just for a season and not a lifetime
im 22 years old, I remember first playing this game when it came out on xbox the memories ive had, the sleepovers, the thrill of wanting too build the craziest stuff. when I was 12 or 13 one of my friends died in a house fire. I really felt down, I got back on our old Minecraft world we use too play and found comfort remembering all the times we use too do crazy things too this day I play it weather too ease my stress, my depression or just relive. Minecraft isn't just a game Minecraft is therapy, and ill never forget it.
Minecraft is many things to people. Some people aren't able to cherish the memories you have. I'm so glad you have something to remember them by. Keep going, even when it gets rough. Just remember that Minecraft is always there for you when you need it, and your friend is there for you when you need them.

Its amazing that one game became so much for so many. I remember when i used to play Minecraft. whether it was with my friends or me joining my sister and her friends playing survival and getting carried or just little me playing solo creative having a blast enchanting a sword with every enchantment not knowing what they do to make myself wildly overpowered to just one shot things. or sitting their for hours and just building anything that came to mind whether it be towns, exquisite houses, statues of characters, or just random things that were thought up on the spot...
its been a long time since i last played but those memories will always stay with me. Minecraft truly is a masterpiece

The only thing that I truly hate about minecraft, is how lonely it is to play for me...

Little update:
So much changed. I haven't been in any comment sections in so long but I feel like this is the best one to do this.
Life changed so much I barely recognize it, I finally found myself (who I am, etc.) I managed to get away from a toxic relationship and I have stable income now. I'm an adult now but I still feel like that same kid playing Minecraft on my xbox 360 looking at the new Aquatic update. I don't think I ever moved on from that because those memories are still fresh in my mind while everything else is a blur. I was diagnosed with DID and memory loss and every day is a blur and I never remember anything but those memories, they always stayed.

If you read the entire thing then props to you but it would feel amazing to be steve in minecraft. the memories, 🥹 the laughs, 😂 the raging, 😡 the cries, 😢the "Let me finish placing the one block, mom! 😭 the realization a creepers is about to explode behind you,😳 the mindlessly playing questioning the point of life,😐. I remember when i first heard of this game I played it on the Xbox 360 with my cousin or sister. I always sat in front of the tv playing the original tutorial but now they updated it so much those memories seem so unreal. I miss the old Minecraft the calming music, the original animals, original landscapes, free texture packs and skins. The old games were fun. But now all those memories just seem like a dream. I’ll always miss the flat roofed houses,running around the world without a care, and role playing with texture packs. The best memory I’ve had is just sitting in front of the tv tears rolling down my face and hypnotized by the calming music. We’ll miss you original minecraft☺️🫶

I'm remember when 5 years ago, I started playing Minecraft on my phone, it was absolutely classic, I only used to download some maps & mods/addons, copying some buildings by TSMC even some fake Portal Tutorials... These good ol' days are just Nostalgic & amazing.

Minecraft has a reason to be so popular, whether old version or new it's created memories for everyone who had the joy of playing it. Nothing will feel more nostalgic than hopping on an old world and looking back at what you accomplished over the many happy years playing minecraft. And as a personal note minecraft was always there when I moved from friends or someone I knew passed away. No matter what happened I could always just go to minecraft and out of the real world. And it made life bearable in the not so enjoyable times.

Im graduating high school in less than 48 hours, and on Monday I'll be 18 1/2 years old to the day.
Like Minecraft, life has changed. But, every small alteration is an integral part of you, and what you do. Even if its a change for the worse on your end and everything seems to be going well for everybody else, do remember that its okay for others to be happy, and that it'll eventually come back around so you can be happy again.
