@@typicalfurry2747 I used to think that and they were 100% on fire there. But I have rewatched some old shows from that era and while the raw energy is higher, Matt's voice was definintely way worse and you could hear him loising it towards the end of shows. They also were sloppier live back then. Nothing bad at all but definitely more mistakes, tempo issues etc. ITCOTD is an absolute masterpiece from start to finish and Trivium now put on such a clean and fantastic live show. They are definitely peaking now.
I don't think they need to remaster it, but I would definitely welcome another version like ABR did with Leveler, tuning it a bit down and using better production to sound heavier, I think even Seize The Day with a lower tuning would sound great. The album the way it is is already one of my favorite albums of all time, I'm just the guy the love experimenting, and y'know I love Matt's vocals in it, but his voice is definitely more mature now, at least that would be an improvement for sure. And I would love to see how Brooks would implement his style in those songs

Jacob, I kid you not you are one of the best guitar players on RUclips, metal wise for sure. Your technique is like a mixture of John Browne and Jason Richardson. Weapon of Vanity 👌🏻👌🏻 Stabbing The Drama is such an absolute banger of an album that I can rarely just listen to one track. The mix is also absolutely lush (dat snare). Peter Wichers is a disgustingly underrated player too.
I'm still disappointed with how few subs you have. I've been watching your stuff for maybe a year or so and it's flawless. Bravo my dude, I hope you get the recognition you deserve. Maybe longer videos for that YT algorithm can help with exposure? Unsure what the answer is but I'm a fan to say the least

Glued to ultimate guitar tabs 😁 worded perfectly

It’s a fact that any of these riffs could be released today and be every bit as sick as they were 16 years ago. Metal is timelessly epic.
Yes but now it would be nostalgic, Or retro.

D down through C are still the best metal keys in my opinion, even though I do love 7 and 8 strings!

Mudvayne is an unexpected, but welcome gift.
I was pleasantly surprised to see a Soilwork riff in this, people seem to forget about those guys (they're one of my favorite bands).
Beast And The Harlot at least for me is THE defining 2000's song
Your songs choices are awesome, pleasantly surprised to see DevilDriver in there! Sick playing - instantly subscribed 🔥
Thanks a lot man! I appreciate the sub 🤘
We all remember watching first time the covers of Musicman1066
Him and Killrbuckeye
Soil work was huuuuge with that sworn to a great divide album still kicks ass
Each album had a different flavour, but was always still uniquely soilwork. Such a sick band!
